"My husband had an international trip come up unexpectedly. We tried getting an appointment at the government's passport office in Miami and were no appointments available despite multiple calls to them. We had 14 days before his trip. We filled out the application online and paid $989 (with extra fees for shipping) for the expedited service. They have an online system to fill out your paperwork and submit your documents. After completing the application, I got an automated message in their online system that I had to call their office to complete the process. I called the office and left 3 messages over a 2 day period. After 48 hours, they finally called me back to let me know that even with expedited service that they couldn't get him his passport for 3 weeks. They told me that it would take 2 weeks for me to get my refund. We ended up using The Passport Office in Tampa. We got his passport in 7 days. DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS SERVICE."
"This FedEx is great. The two stars are for the Rush My Passport. This turned out to be much more expensive than what it was worth. There was frequent confusion, and phone messages were not always answered. When the passport was finally delivered, it was sent USPS to the wrong address, rather than Fed Ex to where we currently are, as we requested. We had chosen this company merely because of paying up front for the delivery of the passport to be via Fed Ex rather than USPS. Total turnaround time was over a month."
