"I am very happy Bucks has a location in Dover. Every time I have went into this location, the gentleman ( tall older fellow)behind the counter has been super friendly and amazingly helpful. One of the times I went in, my purchase totaled $2.50, and they still waited on me and spoke to me like I spent $2500 worth of material. The customer service reminds me of the good old days when proprietors cared and tried building relationships with their customers."

"I love this place. It reminds me of local hardware stores 50 years ago where you went in , someone asked you what you needed, and then got that item for you. Today I went into the office with the cartridge from a Glacier Bay Kitchen sink faucet. I asked the counter man if they had this part. He asked me if the water was coming up from the cartridge or just dripping. When I told him that it was just dripping, he told me that I only needed a little specialty washer that goes in the bottom of the hole under the cartridge. Who knew? He told me to stick my finger in the hole and retrieve the old washer. At a big box store I would have bought new cartridges, installed them and probably still had drip, drip, drip. I saved money and got the problem fixed without a hitch. No more drips. I've been shopping at Buck's for 13 years now, doing little plumbing repairs and maintenance, relying on their consistent parts availability and advice to get things done. I strongly recommend giving Buck's a visit for buying plumbing supplies. especially if you are a DIYer like me."

"This place is phenomenal!! I've been to three big box stores and no one had what I needed and finally referred me to Buck's. They are so friendly, patient, and kind. He explained everything I needed to do and he was exceedingly patient with me while the gears were trying to turn in my head. So happy I found them!! Also - much cheaper and knowledgeable than the big box stores."

"I try and use local businesses when ever possible, I like to support our local economy. However, this place is not worth your time. I went in to buy a tool to remove the shower valve and to eventually but the other parts I needed to fix the shower. Instead of helping me, they decided to degrade me because of my lack of plumbing knowledge. There was a plumber standing behind me who told me what I needed and where it was, but when the employee tried to sell it to me I refused and went to home depot where it was not only cheaper but I received service without being degraded! Maybe if your a local plumbing this is a great place, however for the do it yourselfers I would recommend you avoid at all costs!"

"Went in there three separate times in 1 week for the exact same part... the price for that part was different each time... this last time I paid 3.57 for the part and another 55 cents for what I can only guess is tax... obviously that is not the tax price I should have paid and I have the receipts to prove it. So beware when you go here, they're obviously not very honest or not very educated. Check your receipt before you leave. I only went here because Ace didn't have the part I needed. I won't go here again."
