"HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I walked into the store and no one greeted me. I asked for clarity on the length of a fabric & she (an older woman) ignored me for 10 mins. I asked for help again, when I told her I needed clarity on how long my fabric was she responded “50 YARDS IS A FOOTBALL FIELD YOU DONT UNDERSTAND THAT!?” I then asked to be helped by someone else because she was very rude. The other person was not as nasty as the older woman but still no help to me. Due to the utter disrespect & unhelpful outcome I left. As I was leaving the older woman that I spoke to first said “ugh I can’t believe YOU PEOPLE come into my store…” I am a woman of color so hearing “you people” automatically makes me think you’re being racist. This is 2024 & outside of racism being unacceptable - your business’ reputation should be top priority. How your customers are treated should be top priority. This woman ruined my morning and I left STILL unsure about my fabric."

"What a cool little independent fabric store. I was very lucky to stop by. I had an emergency that only sewing needles could fix. The building is old, and it’s a little dusty, but the folks inside were very kind, and they had a surprising collection of notions."
