"Driver D252 on Saturday at 1235 failed to stop at stop sign leaving the rear entrance for Magnolia shopping area. Speed limit on 501 is 35 mph…he was in excess of 45 as he pulled away from traffic"
"Tell your dump truck drivers to stop blocking a road as busy as cr470 so they can let lines of other dump trucks pull out of a construction site. Aside from being illegal, it’s extremely unsafe. I always wondered why there are so many bad stereotypes about truck drivers, then I saw the way your drivers drive, and the stereotypes became crystal clear."
"Hello my name is Jesse. I went to day after I got an application from “turtle” who took the time to get me one and meet me to give it to me yesterday. I want to say from what I saw and how I was treated I give them 5 stars!!! They were great kind and very professional!!!! I got the job in less than 12 hours!!!!! Drug test paperwork and interview all done!! Thank you all especially the receptionist!!! She dose a lot and I say bravo you are great at what you do words are just words but thank you all for everything. Y’all made me feel like I was family. I recommend filling out the application."
"Their office manager has a terrible attitude. She is unprofessional and lacks the intelligence to interact with the public. She clearly needs to be retrained to deal with customers or be replaced. I'm a crew chief/supervisor at a large construction company up north with more than 30 yrs exp including underground utilities, road & highway construction and line striping. I'm looking to relocate to central Florida. Although there are numerous negative comments and reviews about Rainey Construction on the internet I decided to stop by to introduce myself anyway. Who knows who posted the bad reviews? Their website clearly invites you to come by and fill out an application. If they have an opening and feel you're qualified they'll contact you. So I stopped by and it was VERY clear as soon as I asked the office manager/receptionist a question that she was annoyed at my presence. I quickly understood the negative reviews were justified and switched gears. Instead of asking for an application, I asked if they did their own line striping. She said "NO". I asked her if they worked with multiple line striping companies, she said they only worked with one and they were local. I asked who they were. She didn't really know their subcontractors company name other than "Precise something". I asked her 3 or 4 times if she could give me their actual name. She wouldn't give itito me. She said she didn't know their name or phone number. When I asked if there was someone else who could give me their phone number or help me get their number, she said, "NO. I'm the only person who can help you". She said she didn't have the time to do so. Really? It literally takes 20 seconds to give somebody a phone number. Even if you are busy, would it kill you to say, "I'm really sorry, give me a few minutes and I'll get it for you as soon as I can." I've left out a lot of the dialogue between she and I out for the sake of shortening up this review. Also, her attitude and annoyance can not be fully appreciated unless you were in the office as her arrogance got the best of her. I really had to bite my tongue but I would never lower myself to her level. I'm a very professional and nice person. I actually started to laugh at her when I was leaving their office. Her lack of common sense, ignorance and sense of entitlement where overwhelming. Imagine having that person being the first person customers and the general public interact with. She is the first impression of their organization. For me, she's also the last!!!!"
"My area in The Villages had the street ripped up and resurfaced Feb. 27th-March 4th. The machinery came through a small opening off of Bluffton Rd. right in front of my home. They parked all the equipment here also at night. I came home one night from pa=laying cards and went to close my binds and felt something cracking under my feet. It was 2 Lennox wine glasses that were jostled off the wine rack from the heavy machines. I called and spoke to Dan Lucin 2x's and another time someone who answered his phone line. When I explained the problem, his response was "I never heard of anything like this." I told him NOW you have. I asked for payment of the two glasses $37 each, discontinued pattern, and he declined as he spoke to several people nd nobody ever heard of anything like this." I am now going to write to the company and see where I get. I bought 4 as they are discontinued, but only want payment for 2. The tar infant of my house looks like some truck dug into it."
