"I had my first trout fishing trip to Chile in Feb 2018. I found Chile on the Fly and Jose Marti on line and was impressed with the website. I hired Jose for 3 full days of fishing and he gave me a different experience each day. We fished lakes and rivers, some wading and some from a boat. The fishing was challenging, but great fun and I caught many trophy browns and rainbows. Jose provided all my fishing gear on this trip. I returned for a 5 full day trip with a friend in Feb 2020. Again we had a great variety of fishing and great success. Jose was very able to handle both clients needs. We were both experienced fly fishers, so I cant say how it might be for two novices. Jose is a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. His English is perfect because he is American. He is fun to fish with and he will show you techniques to improve your game in Chile. If you need any gear, he can provide it. I recommend him without reservation."
