"My electrician needed to get to some wiring that was behind a 57x72ish mirror that had been installed in my dressing room about four months ago. I called Advantage Glass to see if they could take it down. They came by to look at it, and for $300 said they would take it down and remove it, as it could NOT be used again because of the adhesive on the back. They quoted me $940 to replace and install a new mirror after my electrician was done. It seemed odd to me that it couldn’t be reused since it didn’t break during the removal process, but I trusted their professional opinion. I paid them the $300 and they took it with them. The process didn’t sit right with me, so I started asking my contractor, electrician, painter, and friends in the renovation industry, and then called another local glass shop (without naming this business). They ALL told me that if the mirror did not break during the removal that it could absolutely be reused. I called Advantage Glass and asked if they still had my mirror. They said no, they had cut it up and thrown it in the trash. Do I believe they took a mirror that size that was less than 4 months old and flawless, and threw it out? No. But it’s done now, hence this review. Beware of this company. Advantage Glass is more like “Take Advantage Glass”. I’m a recent widow on my own and got taken advantage of. They got my $300 and my mirror. Another glass company will be replacing it for $520, …not $940! That’s a huge savings. People need to be, and do better!"

"Called to get an estimate for updating home in Navarre, FL. The owner was very condescending in his replies. I told him we wanted to “commercialize” our residential property by replacing the front elevation, doors/windows, with a more modern/storefront look. He told me he would have to pass because his last install ended in a lawsuit due to major leaking. Naturally, I inquired about what happened in an attempt to get ideas for my project so we don’t end up in a similar situation AND so we could possibly due business together, (since he’s got previous experience with this type of work). Unfortunately, all he wanted to do was point the finger at the previous client. Instead of taking responsibility for a poor installation, he wanted to blame the difference between residential and commercial construction. A legitimate/responsible contractor would have noted these differences at the beginning, (in his proposal) before the project even started….making the appropriate changes to the structure before installing said storefront/windows. An attitude like that is NOT something I or anyone should ever have to work with. We all make mistakes…. Take accountability and move on….don’t blame others for your failures!"

"Don’t hesitate to call them. All I needed was a piece of glass replaced. They did the estimate and repair, the same day. It took maybe an hour? Fair price, great customer service and integrity. I would recommend them to anyone."

"I called them up for a broken window, and they came by that day to give me a quote which was very reasonable. They put the order in, which took awhile, but as soon as it arrived they came and replaced it. I am soo pleased how it turned out. These guys did a great job and were very nice.
