"Went to get a pedicure and this lady was charging 40$ for a simple man regular pedicure. The she kept insisting I get other services I did not request and adding on to the prices. The nail techs like to price gouge you. No thanks"
"So I have been with Donna for almost two years , very nice and friendly, I never once questioned her prices although I clearly saw she tends to overcharge for anything, example: ($25 for a change of color no fill in just a change of color!), but anyways I was always very happy with her work. Here and there a nail would break but I would always pay her to fix, happened very little if at all. So this past weekend on Sunday I get my Halloween set done, she persuaded me To try the dip powder instead of acrylic that I always get, she tells me it’s stronger and better so I listen to her. My nail broke last night literally 2 days later, she texts me to confirm my pedicure this Friday, but I fell asleep and I answered her this morning (Wednesday). In addition to confirming Fridays appointment I send her a picture to show her my brand new nail is broken and I admit to her that I didn’t like the dip powder, clearly not that strong as she claimed. As soon as I send that picture and message she responds Saying she doesn’t want to do my nails anymore. Never mind the the fact that I have NEVER given her motive to deny me but her unwillingness to fix my nail and yes for free because I just got them done, and if that wasn’t possible I still would have paid. Every girl is demanding with her nails, WE ARE THE ONES PAYING FOR IT WE ARE THE ONES THAT WEAR OUR SET, she never once has had a problem with my requests and now she wants to dismiss me because I want her to fix her work ? Then to add insult to injury I asked her like why what happened ? I was so taken aback by her response and she doesn’t even have the courtesy to tell me Straight to my face. She leaves me on read. Say it to my face, coward. Anyone coming here be careful with her because she has proven herself super unprofessional. She gouges you on prices over exaggerating the time it takes and the use of Products when she’s never done to me anything over the top, just (Basic designs, French, lines or squiggles, little Diamonds, etc). Cant handle a client that wants her moneys worth? Get out of the business. Fake lady."
"So i wanted to try a new place. Expand my horizon. Check out other local businesses. I came here based off reviews. Seemed decent. The people are kind, try to please the customer the best they can, they provide beverages including wine (for my wine lovers). However when it comes to complex nail designs its not doable. They do and work better with simple designs. I showed two designs i got off Instagram, couldn't do. They also asked me other questions i can't answer cause I'm not a nail tech and/or barely have knowledge on nails. The end results to my nails were okay but being that this is not my first rodeo my nails are really bulky and something about them is off. You be the judge. Also I'm sure if i told them i didn't like them they would of tried to correct them but i was already their 3hours i can't just go whenever im a mother on kids schedule."
"This was one of the worst manicures I’ve ever gotten. It was lumpy and flared out even though I asked for them to be filed narrow. They were also THICC (like, 2001 soccer mom thick) and streaky. I could tell my tech knew things were not going well about half way through, but she never stopped to ask for help. She couldn’t get the dip to stay on my nails (I have no idea why, I get dip every other week at another salon and have never see that). A huge part of the problem was that her drimmel bit was either very old or dirty, and it wouldn’t file evenly. I don’t know why she didn’t change it out. The final straw was when she began putting the matte top coat on top and it was coming out super streaky and bad. This is when she finally had to ask for help…but they were going to let her leave it on? I just asked for them to be removed so I could leave. To Donnas credit, she asked me to let her redo them a few times and no one was hostile to me about it. But I had already wasted 2 hours there though and with this being my first impression, I just didn’t trust her to do any better. She even tried to tell me that they were lumpy (I’m talking WAVEY like the ocean) because I got tips on underneath the SNS. I have gotten this exact same thing countless times and never had them turn out wavey. I couldn’t take pictures of the original nails because it felt so awkward. I did take pictures of what they had me walk out of the salon with, though. There’s glue and SNS powder glued on all over my hands. Literal fragments of the tips are still on my nails. Would you let a customer leave like this? Especially one already upset? Next time my nail salon is booked, I’ll just wait instead of taking a chance."
"Went to this nail salon based on their high ratings. I was offered water, soda and wine... well ofcourse I had a glass of wine! The staff was attentive and friendly. The guy there is very funny, will keep you entertained and hydrated. I am very particular about the color scheme of my nails. I have been to ALOT of nail salons in this area and my color of choice is limited.I really did like how they had such a variety to choose from. Not just my copper-orange color scheme but also the hand designs she does. I'm pretty much plain and always go solid color no designs but looking at her work did inspire me to get something on at least a nail per hand. Haha Long story short, will go back."
