KVC Construction Services

"I've only written a few reviews on Google. Mainly, because they aren't typically required; if someone completes a simple job as expected, I'm never sure how many stars you're supposed to give someone if they "do their job". In the case of KVC Construction Services, it is a "no-brainer" to sit down and draft this review. In fact, I would be derelict and ungrateful if I didn't spend a few minutes posting this review. Josenei Lopes, the owner of the company, is one of the most honest, customer-focused people I have ever met. Last year, I had my back pool deck replaced. The ultimate solution included using white, marble pavers. After a few months, the deck needed to be cleaned (power washed). Unfortunately, I did not have the bandwidth to do the work myself so I hired someone. While that person did a good job, they also (apparently) used bleach to remove some of the stains. As it turns out, bleach is one of the worst things you can use on marble because it will cause that stone to turn yellow. As a result of the bleach, portions of my beautiful deck were discolored to the point that my OCD was in maximum overdrive anytime I went outside. Yeah, petty, but I own it. I stopped enjoying my beautiful backyard because it looked terrible. Driving through my neighborhood one day, I passed by a KVC truck that advertised paver solutions. They were working on a neighbor's swimming pool. I pulled over and that is when I met Josenei. He followed me home, looked at my problem, and gave me an extremely reasonable estimate. We signed a contract and planned to have the work completed with the week. Fast forward to the job: Milton and David performed the work to remove and replace the yellowed tiles. I cannot speak highly enough about them. Their work was impeccable and they were genuinely nice people. In less than 2 days, they had neatly and professionally removed the offending pavers and replaced them with new ones. I know absolutely nothing about the business of installing pavers, but I do know that if it's not done correctly (not enough sand, sand is distributed improperly, etc) you end up with crooked pavers or hollow sounds when you walk on the deck. These two guys ensured that none of those conditions existed. Josenei ("Hose En Ay") was here everyday and did not consider the job completed until I was elated. He is a man of integrity who quite obviously considers his customers' satisfaction to be his main priority. I hope that I have half of the integrity that this man demonstrates. I would be remiss if I didn't mention "Bianca". Bianca is (quite obviously) the glue that coordinates the operations at KVC. She and I spoke or texted regularly throughout this project and she ensured that everyone remained on the same page and that my expectations were exceeded. She is a wonderful person and Josenei is blessed to have her on his team! Despite the fact that I found KVC at a swimming pool project and hired them to complete a "pool deck" project, and the truck advertised both of those services, the "construction" part of KVC is the most relevant. They do just about everything. As a result, I am looking forward to having some ceilings repainted and I am already confident that the work will be exemplary. In life, it's said that one needs to find a good accountant and a good lawyer. I would argue that having a great construction engineer in your contact list is, at least, just as important. I am grateful to have found KVC Construction and just hope that my review is not so glowing that, when I reach out in the future, they are not so burdened with work that they cannot schedule me or I cannot afford them. If you've read this far in my review and KVC has the skillset to address your needs, you should call them immediately. You have my word that you will not be disappointed.
