"The person I dealt with at the front desk was fantastic and understood our circumstances. However I never received any type of reply from my email letting me know that it was received and that my vehicle would not be towed!"

"Please note when booking reservations, this is a third-party site that is scamming consumers by offering an inflated cancellation/refund offer. When booking, it can appear to be as though you are booking directly with the hotel. This is not the case. If you book directly with the hotel, there is a nominal fee that you can pay for the refund policy. For Marriott, it was under $14 for a one night stay. Additionally, even when purchasing refund protection, they will try to charge you 25% of the one night stay. Please book directly with the hotel site to avoid this third party’s scam."

"When I got to my hotel, Hotel Planner had canceled one of my rooms (I had 2). I never canceled. I had to pay the hotel out of my pocket because there was nothing they could do since it was canceled through the 3rd party. Hotel Planner took my money and will not refund me. Now I have paid for 2 room and I paid for one of them TWICE. I will contact the Better Business Bureau. This is not right."

"I booked a flexible cancelation hotel room and wanted to change my checkout date. The customer service rep said that in order to do that I had to cancel and rebook. This was the last room available at this hotel, so I told him I did not feel comfortable canceling at the risk I wouldn’t be able to rebook. The only other option I had was to let the hotel know during check in and they “should” refund me for the night we don’t use. I asked if that is something that would be certain or only a possibility, and the agent said they could not confirm. This trip is still months away so it is very frustrating that I couldn’t adjust anything without completely canceling."

"Thought i called directly to my hotel, instead redirected to them (CLAIMING they were my hotel), and they gave me a room $100 over the average cost. Later, they tried to claim my hotel would not refund me my money on a canceled trip. We called the hotel themselves and they said they would without a doubt. Had to contact customer support, along with the hotel. They gave me HALF my money back in a form of a voucher for their site. DO NOT RECOMMEND. I just wanted my money back so I wouldn't have to go through them again"
