"I had the BEST experience here. I had been renting boats from 4 other companies all week, with varying results. However, when I to bayside i was greeted by the renter and he was so nice and patient even though it was his birthday and he was heading out on his own. He took the time and mever rushed us. They support local coral reef restoration whichi why i rented the boat from them. Their prices were the best in town and none of that bs we charge more on weekends. Super delightful experience, am going back in December for another trip and cant wait!! Thanks again"

"We rented a boat over the phone and the deal was 9:30-5:30 for what seemed a reasonable price. We showed up at 9:26, but the representative didn't show up until 9:50. After that, he needed to rinse the boat and load it with fuel, which one might think would be done prior to 9:30. At any rate, after signing the contract, getting the boat cleaned and filled with gas, we got on the way around 10:30. As we headed out and organized our stuff, the instrument light started flashing a warning about the oil. I immediately called and was told that it just meant it was time to service it, not to worry. So, kept going. We get out into the ocean and wanted to head to Sombrero reef, probably a 2-1/2 hour trip each way. After about an hour and a half, a new light on the instrument panel started blinking and the boat stalled. Tried several times and it wouldn't start. Being a very experienced boater, I tossed anchor to let it cool and contacted the representative, and was told don't worry about it. We swam around waiting for it to cool down when I noticed the registration decal was expired. So, questionable motor and expired decal was enough for me to decide to head back, which we did, idling because I wasn't confident in the motor and wanted to get to a safer distance from land. We contacted the representative and explained we were about 5 minutes away at 5:00. Got to the dock, no representative. Already long story, I will shorten to owner of the company saying there would be no negotiation for our hassles. Indeed, within 2 hours the fuel bill was already deducted from my bank and nobody cared to return calls or texts as we attempted to figure out what might be fair. My advice, there are plenty of places to rent boats and I wouldn't suggest this place to my ex-wife. On second thought, if I knew my kids wouldn't be with her, Bayside rentals is EXACTLY where I'd recommend to my ex."

"We came from Chicago and had the greatest time. The staff was very friendly, the boat was in excellent shape, and the prices are much more reasonable than most of the other companies we called and saw while we were in the area. We fished, went snorkeling, and more. Having a boat really made our trip in the Keys. Highly Recommended! Can't wait to go snorkeling again!.."

"Excellent experience! I'm picky/thrifty so I did some shopping around before deciding on Bayside. Bayside was by far the most professional and easiest to deal with. My three year old loved the "ship" I rented and so did the other seven people that came. We ran the boat pretty hard/far and I don't think we burnt a half tank of gas in two days. Excellent training by staff plus an awesome color GPS allowed us to get out and see the area without worrying too much about crashing into a reef. I had a couple of questions about the boat so I called the guy who did the training. He answered first ring and got me cruising again in thirty seconds. See you next time Bayside!"
