"My husband and I went along with our two children (11 &4). Each of us enjoyed and saw several dolphins and also several different kinds of birds. Nice seeing all of the beautiful homes from the water, as well. Great captain and tour guide."
"If you are too busy to go fishing go shelling. We had a great time. Mom went on her first boat ride on the ocean and better yet to an island. Mike was great and he saved turtles and retrieved a life jacket from the ocean. We will definitely do it again."
"Loved our trip to Egmont key. Stellar shell picking and friendly staff. We had captain Zip and Bree. They were so informative and helpful and fun. We went in Jan and arrived an hour early like they recommended but we did not need nearly that much time to get situated because it is off season and during the week. They did leave very timely though, both going to the key and back. Highly recommend. Saw gopher tortoise and dolphins, sea birds, shore birds and reptiles!"
"We had such a nice cruise today. We saw lots of dolphins and enjoyed the stories about the houses and surroundings. The captain and Brandi were entertaining, friendly, and informative. This was my second cruise with Hubbard's Marina, I would recommend them to anyone . We will definitely cruise with them on our next vacation in this area."
"First time patron of Hubbard's Marina. Went on 1/2 day trip with 11yo grandson. His 1st time out - It was okay. The boat, rented tackle and bait were okay. The crew was not acceptable in my eyes.. They had 2 guys helping 30 people and one of them was new, so I spent a lot of time waiting with a fish for them to tell me to keep it or not. (I had 3 keepers, and 5 others.) **My grandson never caught a single fish, and no one seemed to care.*** Thet didn't give him pointers, didn't recommend moving toward rear of boat where most were being caught, and after asking 3 times for the 5 dozen shrimp we paid extra for, I retrieved them myself- over an hour into the fishing part. My grandson was so disappointed, and so I was too. I recommend that the website be updated with the information given before boarding- such as the extra bait, tackle, food vouchers, and all day parking pass. I could've purchased online or before the meeting before loading, and not been so rushed. Also, when they clean the fish caught upon return to shore, they should allow the people with less than 5 fish go first. The guests with 25+ fish rushed to front, so I just threw mine away. This trip wad not at all like other trips I've been on in the past. I would try again, the price was affordable for 1/2 day."
