Reviews
"We had the best time thanks to Doug and his wife and the awesome possibility to have our kayaks overnight. They were so friendly, helpful and welcoming! A heartwarming place & lovely people"
"Doug and the crew at Rum 138 never disappoint. Always cheerful upon arrival. Clear instructions on kayaking routes. Fun ride to Launch site and back to the shop. Reasonable pricing and nothing hidden. Great outdoor experience for all ages. Be sure to check out their Sunday Funday Concerts coming up! Sincerely, Livin' Large Larry and Keri Wilson"
"Great local kayak dealer & river outfitter. Upgraded to a Nucanoe Unlimited. Traded in my old kayak (Ascend 10T). Ordered the pivot drive system. Have to wait a week for it to arrive. Dealer will install for no extra charge. I recommend Rum 138 for all your kayak needs."
"Everything was great but my kayak that I rented was old and leaking water. My wife's kayak seat was broke so she's leaning in backwards the whole time which in a nine hour kayak ride was pretty rough. I would expect better kayaks for fifty dollars a day rental. The river was beautiful the people were friendly. I'm not talking about the drain holes either. I'm talking about the crack in the bottom of the kayak which made the kayak sink. Had to find a place to pull The kayak up and drain the water out."
