"Location: 4050 Ludlam Rd, Miami, FL 33155 So, I had this crazy experience with Jiffy Lube recently, and you won't believe what happened. I decided to do the responsible thing – get my car's oil changed, right? I took it to the Jiffy Lube Everything seemed fine when they finished up. I paid, got into my car, and that's when things started to go south. The dashboard lights up like a Christmas tree, telling me to 'reduce oil level.' Weird, I thought. The techs said they'd handle it and took my car back into the shop. An hour passes, and they return my car smelling like an oil refinery, but that wasn't the worst part. I start the engine, and bam, a new message flashes: 'Transmission malfunction! No reverse gear.' I mean, come on! I tell the guy, Andy, what's going on, and he's spouting off all these possibilities like he's guessing the lottery numbers. I managed to get home, but then smoke starts billowing from the muffler. I'm on the phone with Andy again, and he's still giving me the runaround with guesses. At this point, I'm thinking a professional needs to look at this mess, so I get a mechanic's opinion, which pretty much echoes Andy's theories but included that they probably drained my Transmission oil instead of the engine oil. I did a quick check under the car, no leaks, nothing. So, I set up an appointment with the Audi dealer, thinking they'll sort it out. But the car's not done yet. It throws another tantrum, demanding I stop and park it. I call up Audi's roadside assistance, and they tow it straight to the dealership. Now, get this, the Audi techs open her up and guess what they find? The transmission fluid is gone. All 8.5 quarts of it. Vanished! Turns out, the geniuses at Jiffy Lube drained the transmission fluid instead of the engine oil. Then, thinking they're topping off the oil, they overfill it because they actually hadn't drained a thing. No wonder it took them over two hours for an oil change! And the cherry on top? Jiffy Lube management is MIA. No calls, no apologies, nothing. I'm out here racking up Uber fares, towing bills, and service charges, all while playing detective on what's wrong with my car. I've got all the paperwork to prove it, which is good because it looks like I might need it. So yeah, that's my Jiffy Lube saga. Can you believe it?... FAST FOWARD TODAY.... I just wanted to share an update with you. Atlantic Coast Enterprises, aka Jiffy Lube (Mr. Moreno) came back to me with a fourth offer of $550, aiming to settle the dispute stemming from a mistake made at your service center. This sum only covers half of what the error actually cost me, and I can't help but feel both disappointed and saddened by this outcome. It just doesn't seem fair, and honestly, if you were in my shoes, I'm pretty sure you'd feel the same way. What's really eating at me is the reaction I'm getting every time I share my story online. No matter where I post, the comments I receive are disheartening, with many saying that this is just par for the course. It seems like errors like this happen all the time at Jiffy Lube, and the go-to response is either to ignore the customer or throw a lowball offer their way, one that hardly covers the damage caused. This whole situation has got me thinking: Is this the level of professionalism and leadership Jiffy Lube wants to be known for? Is this the reputation you're aiming to build? Because from where I'm standing, it's not just about the money anymore. It's about feeling respected and valued, and right now, I'm struggling to find that respect. Thanks for taking the time to read this. I hope we can find a better resolution together."
"I got a simple oil change done to my car on April 17 2023 it’s was my first time and last time the workers there are incompetent one guy was under my car wit a cell phone one YouTube learning how to do a oil change & reset the car never saw that done in my whole entire life so unprofessional made complaints to they young guy like plz don’t change my oil if u don’t know what your doing some how he still did my oil change my bmw started knocking 14 days once I left bmw diagnosed it & told me someone miss handle your car in put the wrong oil to add assault to injury i made a complaint to corporate waited patiently on jiffy lube response they told me the franchise is non responsive I’ve call franchises Atlantic coastal still no response!! No one want take accountability for there negligent in hiring not well enough trainees to do there job correctly now I’m out of a car for making a mistake let jiffy lube mass my car up I’m hiring a lawyer because I’m emotional damage after be neglected buy jiffy lube & Atlantic coast my car has a huge storage bill waiting on a response for 4 months As a result of your negligence, I had to spend additional time and money to fix the issues that arose after my visit to your shop. This is not the level of service that I expect from a reputable company like yours. I demand an immediate refund for the oil change service and compensation for any further expenses that have resulted from the damage caused to my car. Additionally, I strongly urge you to retrain your staff, including Carlton Timeus, and improve your quality control measures to prevent similar incidents from happening to other customers. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and accountability displayed by your management team. It is disheartening to see that my concerns have been ignored and brushed aside. I hope that you will take my complaints seriously and take immediate action to address them."
"I am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received at your location on 05/14/23 during my recent oil change visit. I spoke with the area manager, Carlton Timeus, after the incident. He promised me a call back within 36 hours after reviewing the surveillance footage to investigate the issue further. However, to my disappointment, he never cared to follow up or return my calls. It seems that he has been actively avoiding any further communication with me. I arrived at your shop with a perfectly functioning car, but to my dismay, after the oil change, my battery was dead and numerous warning lights, including the airbag and check engine light, were on. This was not only an inconvenience but also a safety hazard for me and my passengers. Despite the assurances of your staff that the battery would be charged and the warning lights would turn off, my car would not start without a jump start. This issue has persisted even after I left your location. It is unacceptable that your technicians could have caused such damage to my car during a routine oil change. As a result of your negligence, I had to spend additional time and money to fix the issues that arose after my visit to your shop. This is not the level of service that I expect from a reputable company like yours. I demand an immediate refund for the oil change service and compensation for any further expenses that have resulted from the damage caused to my car. "Hello, My daughter went to Jiffy Lube on 8295 Biscayne Blvd Atlantic Enterprises in Miami. This place ripped my 22 year old daughter off. She went in for a basic oil change. They told her it was going to $135 for her Jeep Wrangler and they charged her $200. They charged her for engine cleaning and an oil system cleaning. She explained she never asked for this service and they did not care and they made her pay. They took advantage of a young girl. People that work here are the reasons why the consumers do not trust mechanics. Victor the zone manager of this Jiffy Lube and Aaron the manager is a scam artist and stole money from my daughter. Victor the zone manager refused to talk to my daughter! Completely unprofessional! On top of this the manager Aaron, when I spoke to him said that he originally put regular oil into my daughters Jeep when everyone knows that a Jeep takes 100% synthetic oil. Also when I spoke to Aaron I asked him if at any point did he tell my daughter that they were doing an engine cleaning and an oil cleaning and that it would be a $50 charge? He said mama contacted the number on the back of the receipt. I would like to know who to speak to about this situation because they have no business being employed at Jiffy Lube. TOTAL SCAM!!"
"This company recently purchased a local Jiffy Lube I have used for many years. I asked when the gentleman took me into the lobby for a bottle of water and he responded we do no offer free water anymore. It took them double the time it has in the past and I was the only vehicle there. There are no more vacuums, no more services, just higher prices, and the employees trying to sell you everything under the sun. They also do not take your rewards card anymore. A new 'oil disposal fee', This is the last time I will be going there. We have three (3) vehicles and have been loyal to Jiffy Lube. Not anymore. Pretty sad the difference between family owned and big business owned. You get a ZERO"
