"Dont use them unless you have no other choice. Their prices are ridiculous. If you are unfortunate enough to have had them install your system start saving your money up now so you are prepared for stupid high costs. I paid $270 for one hour of labor. Luckily the part was covered under warranty so I didnt have to pay for that also. Please avoid them at all costs unless you are required to use these crooks."
"As the contractor who installed the air-conditioner for our home by MI home builders, we reached out to S&S to fix our unit problem. Technician came out on June 2 , diagnosed , charge us, said they will order parts and return to fix problem. 2 weeks later called, we were told they will not take the job , I pleaded with them to help us as they are the original installers and we will prefer if they help us. They agreed told us our part order will take a month and will come fix . Called them back July 9th and were told they will not take our job, they are too busy working on new installations and also they take on labour warranties and not part warranty. Read the reviews on Google and was not surprised this is their work ethics."
"I called in regarding a simple electrical issue in several areas of my home. S+S installed all my electrical about 2 years ago. Asked for a simple service call to diagnose. Would not even offer to come out even if I paid. They said they just install on new builds. So after the install a one year warranty and forget. Poor customer service from a company that barely stands behind there product."
"all they kept saying is we need a credit card to charge $90 before we will come out to tell you how much it will cost you to fix what you are asking us to look at. It was simply to change a dryer 3-prong to a 4 prong. I did not object to the $90 but I did object to the way that the lady was so unprofessional about it and was determined to say that our house did not exist on the map. by the way I got their phone number off the label they put on the main panel of the home when they were the initial new construction electrician at the house. Don't use them because I don't think they would treat you fair by the reading of most of these reviews and in my brief conversation with them on the phone. They need the $90 that's all they seem to want up front and they say they will give you the credit if you decide to do the work with them. Well if they're the highest bidder then why would you do that work with them, unless they think you're not going to have someone else bid it as well. Seems like a scam going on everyone wants upfront money and then they'll give you a credit if you use them, but you're not going to use the most expensive one you're going to use the one you feel most comfortable with, so you lose your money with no matter how you work this with an electrical company. Sad profession to be in, seems they are relying to scam customers rather than to service customers. Of course that's just my opinion."
"We called them on Saturday to schedule an AC repair job, we had an air handler out. An appointment was set up for the following Thursday. The morning of the appointment day they call to cancel it, as all the crews will be on new construction jobs the rest of the week. Too bad for us, with the AC out for a week. By the way, they installed the units when the house was built, and had been servicing them for 9 years. They told us that new construction takes priority over service calls. If you need service, don't call them."
