Red Bay Marine Repairs

"Tom and his skill sets Totally ROCK! I had my 20ft Bayliner (3.0L I/L 4 Alfa) at Governor's Creek Marina, and they left me a mess and billed me $3,800.00 and kept my boat almost a year. That all happened 18 months ago. Tom solved the issues the other guys could figure out and did that in 2 weeks. I'm now having another minor issue, I'm taking it back to Tom next week. He knows his business and definitely knows his boats!!!"

"I really wish I would’ve taken my boat to a more reputable shop because this guy here is a complete joke.First of all if a customer drops off their boat and it’s clean you don’t give it back covered in leaves and grime, second he said my motor needed a water pump so I wait then he finally does the pump and the motor is still having the same issues, he told me to take it to a different shop to have it diagnosed but I was under the impression he knew what the issue was when he said it was the water pump. So 250$ later I still have to take my boat to another shop because the so called mechanic doesn’t have a 70$ diagnostic kit for Suzuki. What a waste of time i wouldn’t suggest this place to anyone such a waste of time"

"I recently had 3 corroded, leaking fuel tanks replaced in my Contender 28 by Red bay Marine. This effort required removing the center console, cutting the deck out, removing and replacing 3 fuel tanks, repairing the fiberglass, and gel-coating the deck. Their work quality was impeccable. Tom spent a significant amount of time discussing options for preventing future corrosion and provided highly competent advice on solutions while also considering my concerns. Tom and his team were extremely attentive to detail and went above and beyond in extras such as gelcoating the underside of hatches that had begun peeling. "Honestly the best marine mechanic around! I know my fair share about boats and motors but anytime I need help they are there to help me and are very fairly priced. My transom was literally ripping apart from the haul of my boat and they fixed it and I was back on the water in a week. Great quality work and military friendly.
