"Called Terry Vereen Plumbing at a friend’s recommendation to replace a main valve in my home. Plumbers (2) came out on schedule to replace the valve. It was a simple job and was done well. Took about 20 minutes plus time waiting for glue to dry and then check for leaks. An hour total. All good so far and as expected. Then I got the bill. It was 50% more than I was quoted when I called. The plumber tried to explain it as a quote for a 1/2 inch hose bib replacement versus the 1 inch main valve replacement which costs more. Now I was on the original call, not the plumber, and I know what I asked for. Poor job giving me a low quote. Beware when you get a quote from these folks."
