"Made appointment said they would arrive between 8 and 12 with customer service saying around 9 am. Arrived at 12:10 pm. I had given gave a gate code he went in resident gate so I had to let him in. I had all parts for repairs. Made repair to one sink with washer and new drain spout lever took 5 minutes and I supplied parts. Then replaced 2 handles which took about 15 minutes and I supplied all parts. Finished by 12:45. John charged me 325.00 for less than one hour work and I supplied all materials. Never sent the invoice as promised. I had to call today for invoice 6 days later. Gave me 35.00 discount for online coupon. No breakdown of charges so bill was 325.00 for less than one hour at job site for only labor. Get ready to be charged at 325.00 an hour for plumbing and they are not on time. Technician was polite but very arrogant. I don't recommend."
"Aztec Plumbing is one spiteful company. 2 years ago they repiped my entire home. They said they would get a permit. I gave my deposit. On the day they would have finished I asked about the permit which I know is supposed to be placed on the outside of the home before the job starts. That was never done. They never submitted the correct permit. They wrote it as a new hot water heater which it was not. It was a tankless hot water heater they were installing. I asked that they resubmit it. They gave me the run around for 6 weeks. They came back with the permit the day they were finishing. When the drywall was finished by someone they hired Collier was called for inspection. Everything passed. It is so important to have a permit for any plumbing work done in your home. If it passes great if it doesn’t the company has to come back and correct it until it passes inspection. I called them for my waterless tank issue (5 year warranty) and I was scheduled for 8 am -1 pm. I even received an email saying they would arrive 8-10 am. At 9:23 am I called to ask and was told they never sent that email. At 11:02 am the office calls and leaves a VM to say they were longer on a job. An emergency and they had to run an errand they would not be at my home until 1-9 pm. I called and canceled my appointment. They asked would I like to reschedule and I said no because I felt they would do that again. They are not a reliable company and if all they have is one crew to service everyone in Southwest Florida then they are not a good plumbing company to do business with. They are a total rip off with a lot of lip service. Soon you can put them in the same category as Bruno and we all know what happened to that company. There is no transparency."
"My parents have called them to finish a plumbing job with no return call whatsoever. They allegedly cracked their sink and apparently have no intention of communicating or taking responsibility for the issue. They are 84 and 83 and have been taken advantage of. A return call to address the issue would be a start. All they get is Santos VM and he’s always out of town. Not good"
"Set up appointment with Aztec Plumbing for my 80 year old father-in-law at his condo. Job to replace garbage disposal, install new sink faucet in one bathroom and replace toilet tank fill value in another bathroom. Had bought and had onsite a new Insinkerator disposal (swapping for existing Insinkerator) and new Moen faucet. Technician was scheduled to arrive between 8:30am- 12:30pm. He (Carl Threets) showed up at 3:30pm. He quotes over $1,500. He tells my Father-in-law that this is an investment. I was paying the bill, so they call me. Told Carl that quote is ridiculous and ask him how long the work should take him 60-90-120 minutes? At 2 hours he's charging $750/hour+. Carl tells me its not just time doing the job, but also drive time, use of his tools and plumbing tape, LOL. The next day I did the job myself. Took me just under 2 hours. I'm not a plumber...."
"Charged $223 to dig a tiny hole because their company policy is if they have to dig at all, that's the minimum for 30 minutes even though it shouldn't take more that 5 at the most. Absolutely price gouging in my opinion. Also, they have a company policy not to use female pvc adapters, so instead of doing the easier, cheaper fix, the way it has been for 15+ years, they charged more and put new copper fittings that weren't necessary. After going back and forth with management, and the technician admitting to me that he feels the pricing is outrageous, they still wouldn't do anything to make it right. I will never recommend Aztec to anyone."
