"RV Doctor has been great to work with storing our 36’ motor home in a climate controlled facility with 50 amp service. They accommodate request to pick up the rig and always have it ready to go on time. The staff, especially Rachel and Shelly are very friendly and helpful."
"I had the pleasure to speak with Shellie today, her customer service was TOP NOTCH! If everyone did Customer Service like Sheliie does this world would be a better place! I enjoyed our conversation and she is a Great Example for your Company"
"They don't show up for THEIR scheduled appointments after making you wait 17 days. They will try to make you wait another 13 days to come. They want 760.00 ish dollars to fix a dryer belt. Charge you 87.00 for parts. Tell you they shipped it but don't so I could fix the dryer. Thank you for saving me money by not showing up. Thank you credit card company for going after them as they will lie and not ship the part. Rv Doctor should be call rv ripoffs. REPLY TO your lies, you schedule jan 25th with us from 11 am till 4 pm and did not show and wasted our day. And yes you returned the part after I had to call my credit card company that you claimed you shipped and lied that you did.not ship. No doubt that you were going to try and keep the monies . You have no respect for your customers."
"Stay away from RV Doctor. I ordered and paid up front for an RV awning. It took 5 months to manufacture during Covid (can live with this). However, it was eventually delivered by the manufacture to RV Doctor and they never shipped it to us. We went to BBB, Credit Card Company, & FL Attorney General. They were never held accountable for the lack of delivery. This is not the first time they didn't deliver a prepaid awning order I discovered after my incident. Word to the wise. If you have a problem and you used a Discover Card and you try to work with a supplier who takes a long time to deliver, Discover Card will not stand behind you and refund your money. If the supplier fails to respond to your compliant, the supplier is given the benefit of the doubt and you lose your money. Same thing with BBB, all they do is pass communications between the parties and if nothing is worked out between them, they close the complaint. Update7/21/23. Just received a reply from the Florida Attorney General Office-FL Dept of Agriculture and Consumer Services. They too will not stand up for the little guy. Because RV Doctor refused to respond to their inquiry regarding their failure to deliver merchandise I pre-paid for, my claim is being closed. It goes to show you that businesses can do as they please and are not held accountable and can simply chose to ignore the issue. The only way to resolve this is to take them to court. 10/11/23 IN RESPONSE TO RV DOCTOR'S COMMENTS: If you look back at the invoice that was paid it included shipping the awning to us, which you did not. In fact, you never acknowledged to us that you even had received the awning. How can we be expected to make arrangements for the awning if we never were notified that it was in your possession. After receiving your latest response from the BBB that you had returned the awning, again you never notified us that you were taking this action to give us a chance to arrange for other delivery options. No, instead you just returned the awning. If you think you are a good business operator think again. After your communication that you returned the awning, I went back to the manufacture to double check the return, they said they did not received it. I again asked them to double check the order that was sent to them, and they said the order that you provided to me didn't match the description of the awning that we had placed the order for from you. Also, after seeing your response from BBB, I sent you an email trying to say we would get with the company you returned the awning to and we would pay them to ship it to us directly. However, again, our communication went unanswered. We could avoid the whole refund thing if you would just work with us instead of blowing us off. You reference an attachment, but this venue doesn't show any attachment. So are you sure you are even dealing with the correct customer regarding the awning you supposedly received? Since you can't seem to deal with us directly, I guess we will have to do it publicly. Also beware, per Better Business Bureau, RV Doctor has filed for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the federal Bankruptcy Act, case# 2:23-bk-00256. Still waiting on the refund noted in response from RV Doctor that will never happen!"
"From “OUR EXPERIENCE”….read the reviews on the Better Business Bureau. There seems to be a recurring theme of taking money (insurance or otherwise) and failing to fulfill the responsibility of the repairs promised. We were hit up for $13,800.00 + of insurance money with NO FORWARD PROCESS over 3.5 months. I hope the insurance company got their money back as we went elsewhere with complete confidence. If you need more info, message me…I’ll share 22 pages of texts and lies shared with us over 9 months! This is an addition to the original post, after the reply from the vendor. I am glad to hear the insurance company received the refund. As for the 'timeline of materials' from the manufacturer there is 'some' truth to that statement. Slide walls needed to be priced, ordered and 'signed off on' before the manufacturer will put into production the order to build. We found after 2.5 months that no signed order was ever sent. And yes, the manufacturer did eventually receive a signed order (after much bantering back and forth between the Vendor (RV Doc.) and the owners of the fifth wheel. The parts from the manufacturer were supposedly received the month AFTER we left Florida! The other miscellaneous "parts" were NEVER ORDERED. That included slide windows, Awning Arms and an entrance door. We ordered those parts on our own, at our cost, after unsuccessfully waiting for the RV Doc to receive and install said parts. It only took 2 weeks to get the parts to us in PA from a 'verified' Grand Design Vendor. It took me 3 hours to install a door, and awning arm. Remember, I have 21 pages of texts, time and date stamps to back up my complaint. Now that the insurance company has received the 'refund' I can say from experience and the massive amount of documentation, in conjunction with the manufacturer GRAND DESIGN over this fiasco - my experiences still say "do your research and keep accurate records." Thank you"
