"We had him come out on april 2nd to look at a boat. We paid an $800 deposit to order parts. He has not returned to do repairs. He is not returning phone calls or text messages. So it looks like he skipped out with our $ 800 deposit. Very unprofessional."

"I reached out to a few mobile mechanics and Woody's was all about getting over right away and "helping me out". He showed up and by first impressions I was already a little nervous in his diagnostics of my boat. He assured me that he figured out the problem and all I need is a starter and he will do the 100 hr service (this is a boat I just purchased from up north with a new motor that was winterized for a year and had about 4 hours on it.) He insisted it needed the service since it had been sitting. I paid him half up front so he would get the parts. When he came back it was 2 days later and he was out there 4 hours with 2 other people one of which I can only assume was his girlfriend who had their dog on my boat and were smoking on my boat, leaving it dirty and incomplete when it was all said and done. I asked for an invoice and something in writing because he wanted the remaining amount in cash and said my boat now needs a fuel pump. He quoted me a number for the service at that time and I said yes that is fine, and told him I would like to have it in the water asap. He then finally got back with me 3 days later via a phone call to say he was at the part store and now the cost is 2 times as much. I asked what changed, he quoted me the same part cost so I asked how long is the job he said 4 hours. So he basically was saying he now wanted $225 an hour on top of parts. When I pointed that out how I still don't see how it doubled in price he got mad and hung up on me. He sets appointments with you and then does not show. When I finally got a hold of him again to notify him I will no longer be needing his service as I got another mechanic and my boat is now running he was very rude and defensive (literally the only time he replied in a timely manor was to talk trash and try to defend his lying and price gouging.) Avoid Woody's at all cost his "service with a smile" is a joke. He has zero professionalism, dishonest, and has very poor communication. He was paid in full and never finished job."
