Reviews of Joe Cool Air Conditioning and Plumbing
"I normally don't write bad reviews, but they are God awful! Waited all day for a quote. The plumber showed up look at my sink and wanted to charge 400$$ to snake 6ft of line on the ground and easy accessed. Then had the audacity to charge me 44$ for the quote. Do yourself a favor and move on to the next plumber service on Google search, you will thank me."
"AC technician Cardiny M performed a tune-up on my AC yesterday and he was awesome. He is very personable, polite and professional. He took the time to answer all my questons and he explained to me what the performance was on my unit and where the parts are that may need to be replaced in the future. I appreciate that and will request him on my next appointments."
"I was OK with services with Joe Cool but earlier this year I had to replace my air conditioner and went with a different company. I had a message come up on my thermostat that said UV light needs to be replaced. Last year Joe Cool had installed a UV light to help keep everything dry from condensation. My paperwork only showed that UV was installed but no part number. I called Joe Cool and asked about a part number. They called me back and was very cordial but I was told that there are so many different bulbs that they wouldn't know which one was installed without taking bulb out to see. Because of this they've put the onus on the customer to get in the attic and get part number themselves. To me this is not acceptable!"
"I recently had an experience with Joe Cool Home Services for a water main line replacement, and I'm pleased to update my review based on their recent actions. After discussing my concerns with Mike, the general manager, I was impressed by his commitment to resolving any outstanding issues. The company promptly secured the necessary permit for the job and arranged for an inspection. I'm happy to report that the inspection was passed without any problems. Following the successful inspection, the crew efficiently backfilled the area, completing the job. I appreciate the prompt and professional manner in which Joe Cool Home Services handled the situation after our initial communication. Their willingness to rectify the issues and ensure customer satisfaction has significantly improved my opinion of their services. It's important for a company to not only provide quality initial service but also to show dedication in resolving any customer concerns. Joe Cool Home Services has demonstrated this, and I commend them for their responsiveness and effective resolution of the matter."
"This was a bad experience. They were very polite but that’s not the point. I was told that my A/C unit would require $3,000 to repair and approximately $10,000 to replace. When I told the technician that I would need time to think about it, he questioned it and asked for direction from me and what I should tell his supervisors to explain my delay. Again, he had guesstimated a minimum of $3,000 to repair; not a light decision. He also explained that further inspections would cost $281 after he had already taken $90 for the initial visit. So using round figures, he was prepared to take nearly $400 before he would begin to fix anything; simply a diagnosis. Luckily, after he left, my sister’s boyfriend came from out of town and he has a strong HVAC background. He was able to fix our unit for a whopping $64. I realize not everyone would have my luck in a similar situation. However, at minimum, I would recommend a second opinion from Joe Cool."
