"AVOID BLUE PELICAN!!!! Bunch of crooks who don't know ANYTHING about painting or repairs. Brought our boat in for simple strip and paint job, was quoted $1500. Came in to pick up the boat and the bill was over $2500! Moreover, the painted section had large splotches and deep scratches where the paint had been smeared, all the way down to fiberglass! They must have moved the boat while the paint was still wet! Our boat's exterior also came back to us with deep scratches that were not there when we dropped off the boat to Blue Pelican. Our battery was completely dead, too and there was black paint throughout the interior. When we asked the manager to make it right, fix what they messed up, we were not only treated very rudely by the women up front, but were given the run around by the manager, who never returned any one of our many phone calls. AVOID BLUE PELICAN MARINA!"

"I needed some work done on my boat,install new distributor and check electrical system on boat.. 268 Searay Sundancer. I was told to wait 3 weeks to bring the boat in. I waited and called them, they said bring it in. I picked it up today, they had it 4 weeks. I was waiting to get it fixed before I left the country, as I did not want it done while I'm gone and get charged storage fees. I waited until today 4 weeks later, I went to pay, the bill was $0. As it was there 4 weeks and they did not do anything to it. NOTHING! After waiting 3 weeks to bring in, 4 weeks there, no one did a thing to it. Really? Thanks for delaying my trip 7 weeks for nothing. Terrible!"

"Rental boats are old and the staff is not that friendly. The pontoon boat had a aluminum roof which is hardly safe when boating with all the Florida storms. The engine was old and barely worked at a whopping 6 mph it is n t very safe. The ropes were old and frayed and the overall experience left something to be desired."
