"When the ice in the door dispenser started clumping I thought the refrigerator internal temp was too high. I called to schedule a service appointment but needed it to be in the afternoon. They could accommodate me and the technician arrived early in the schedule window. After a thorough examination of the refrigerator compartments and the cooling system, he could find nothing wrong. He surmised it could be the seal on the ice dispenser chute was damaged and letting outside air up into the ice bucket. And that's what was found when the chute was removed. My takeaway from the service call was the competence of the technician. He methodically tested the cooling system in a logical progression and knew what he was doing. Hartman's is the place I will call if I need appliance repair in the future."
