Reviews of Florida Renaissance Festival
"Not a bad spot overall. Shows are good and lots of people dress up. The main problem is the extended wait times to buy food and drink. 20-30 minute wait times are the normal here. That said it really was a fantastic time."
"One of my favorite events that South Florida offers! I love the themes each weekend, especially pirates! It’s great fun for the whole family and I definitely recommend you check out the live shows! They are hysterical!"
"I love this festival. It's just beautiful, everyone is really engaged and I personally feel very at home. They did a different set up and it seemed way bigger. So Many interesting vendors and good food. Between food, beverages and entrance you'll spend easy $60 pp. If you have kids and want to use the additional rides you'll spend more. I go to not drink, just have a snack and eat after. I feel like it is overpriced which is why I give it 4 stars. The vendors overcharge too, a lot of the items being sold can be bought online for 1/10 of the price. I will continue to go for the experience. Eat, drink and shop elsewhere."
"I loved it. A lot going on. Different acts. A bunch of little shops. Live music. Most of the paths are tree shaded so not crazy hot. Definitely bring cash as most vendors are cash only. I loved seeing all the different costumes."
"We had an absolutely amazing day! It's smaller than I expected, and the attendance was much smaller than most Renaissance Festivals but it was kinda nice because for a lot of the day my wife and I felt like we had the place to ourselves. I feel like they should move the venue north to either Orlando or even better the Ocala National Forest, where they would have room to put down roots and grow. All the actors and staff were incredible. Thank you for a wonderful day."
