Reviews
"We went to this farm to learn about horses and to wander around the 20 acres to greet and feed the horses, donkeys, and other farm animals (turkeys, chickens, etc.). The owner was friendly and very informative. She gave us a keen understanding of how much money, time, and dedication it takes to care for these animals. If you want to donate to a cause and know that it will go directly to the well being of animals, here is the place to be generous. It is worth your while to support this farm by knowing exactly where your money is going and how your money is being spent. Highly recommended to take a tour."
"We took our boys here for riding lessons. They had so much fun and enjoyed every lesson with their instructor. Nancy was very kind and accomodating, always keeping us up to date on our schedule. Too bad we have to move, because the boys loved it."
"Good Earth Farm and Nancy hosted our daughter’s birthday party. We had a wonderful experience! Our daughter and party guests experienced pony rides, pony painting, hay rides, petting zoo and more. All attendees were very impressed and I am glad we had our daughters party there. The staff were very thoughtful and kind. Amazing experience!"
"I would not recommend this place. The prices are very high for what it is. My husband and I bought 4 groupons as presents for our neices and nephews for Christmas, and the staff there was so unaccommodating. We did not travel in 4 different cars, so we were not able to use them (fine, it was in the fine print and we did not see that before we bought them). However, they did not even let us use the purchase value of the groupon there, so we spent an extra $40 just to get into the place. Our neices and nephews did have fun on the pony ride, but when they all decided they wanted to try a small mechanical horse (which is advertised as a free trial), the owner or supervisor came by and told them it was only one person out of the family, otherwise everyone else was $10. Mind you, the kids already had helmets on with ages 2-9 so they were really upset. For being a non-profit organization, I definitely felt gauged for money by a place that really doesn't have that much to offer. You are better off going to the zoo with your money."
"We were so excited to go here with friends from our moms group but the farm owner set a negative tone right from the gate. She wouldn't allow me to park my car to pull up my Groupon, my phone had crummy reception at the gate and it wouldn't pull up. I asked if I could park and walk over to her with the coupon, she said no, as if I was trying to sneak in or not pay. And it wasn't like it was busy and she couldn't have kept track of where I was. She also bullied us into spending more money on mechanical horse rides for the kids for $9 each. We were told the food in the cafe was organic. It was just frozen dominos pizza, definitely not organic. The staff was a little overbearing and the prices were high. We won't go back."
