"My girlfriend was bitten by bugs, the blankets had a huge booger on it and there was cum stains on the blankets. The temperature was 44 degrees, i messaged them to tell them we was freezing. We used the stove to heat the apartment. The was no wash rags there, there was mold on the shower curtains. The place looks nice when you see it but when you get in it you see the disgusting mess."
"We are property owners and have Dunes Management oversee our home. They keep our home solidly booked. Through Dunes, a great mother/ daughter team cleans our home between guests. Unfortunately, some guests can be hard on a home. They are desrespectful of furnishings, steal items from the home, don't supervise their children, host unauthorized gatherings, and run the AC with all the patio doors open. These issues are caused by disrespectful guests, not the management company. Additionally, some property owners wouldn't make improvements and won't spend time and money to maintain their vacation rental. These folks, though, still want top rent and occupancy delivered from Dunes Management. As with any rental property, owners must be willing to constantly improve the property by visiting it and working on it."
"If you’re preparing your vacation plans and are researching the management company and see Dunes is overseeing the property please rethink your options. We rented a vacation home and my honest assessment is they’re a scam, property has not been maintained. Pool hasn’t been serviced in likely months (filthy and not operational), house itself is filthy, toilet seats not attached, closet doors coming off the frame, kitchen equipment non existent etc. the list continues. The magnum opus is the customer service, I’ve contacted them several times about getting at least the pool fixed, no resolution and false promises eventually they just stop answering your calls. We’ve tested this by using different phones tied to different area codes and they would answer those immediately, realize it was us again and hang up. They’re working under IPG Management, who are equally as bad due to the fact that they buck pass the responsibility over to Dunes and fail to seek a resolution, stick to their script and avoid making anything that resembles a commitment to help you. So if IPG comes up in your research avoid them at all cost as well to prevent your vacation from turning into a stress test that’s out of control."
"Unfortunately as a house owner I had to terminate my agreement with this company - I had high hopes but the money says absolutely no income business for me. Their people did a great job cleaning and maintaining the house, I appreciate that a lot! BUT!!! it was impossible to get any answers from them concerning money, they just ignore you. Very unpleasant experience. I can resume: The house was booked very well, almost 90% occupancy at all times and I was expecting at least $2000-2500 a month and after 7 full month of patiently waiting, I made my calculations - the income is around $700-800!! And this is ridiculous! Late statements, late payments, absolutely no response on calls and emails You would highly suggest another company if you are looking for property management services"
"We sold our property in March 2022 mainly due to their bad management. We cancelled our contract with them at this time. Damaged carpets, not repaired or reported to us.Closet doors off there runners, not repaired. Plug missing from bathroom sink charged over 100 dollars to replace. Despite all our attempts to retrieve our deposit they still refuse to answer our emails and requests to return our money. Even now four months later they are still charging us for management fees and towel rental, for a property they have not had any contact with since March. Would strongly advise you stay well clear of this badly run company."
