"We stayed for one week at a beautiful Villakey Home and at the end I was quite pleased, providing a fantastic AirBNB review and recommending to others. Two weeks later, that changed. We travel as a group quite often and I haven't experienced anything like this before. Two weeks after leaving the house, I received an email stating we 'damaged' one of every single piece of linen in one of the rooms (we used 3 out of 6 rooms and 2 guests brought their own linen due to severe allergies). They sent photos of each piece which seemed to have had tiny little, barely visible light orange?? 'stains' on them a couple of weeks after our stay. While anything is possible, we were extra careful, always using the cosmetic cloths etc. that were provided. I'll save the long, grueling back and forth but as three couples who travel together frequently, none of us has ever experienced this level of 'gouging' or 'clawing back' for something that even if it did happen (we don't believe it did), could quite possibly be the cost of doing business. Almost $2000 for a week in a large home and now they are taking more money off my card as it's their word against mine. Sadly, Villakey is off the list of places to return to for as many as I can share with."
