Silverspot Cinema Parking

"The instructions on how to get validated for the SilverSpot Cinema is very confusing. Lucky for you reader - I’m going to explain it: 1. You park in the Met3 Parking garage (there are signs for silverspot parking). Be careful not to park in any specially designated spot. 2. You scan the QR code and pay upfront (should be like $25-$30). Yes, I know you have not been validated yet and you’re supposed to pay $8. Calm down, we’re getting to that. Just pay the $25. Make sure to pay upfront because they will boot your car within 15 minutes if you don’t. Yes I’m serious, we saw them doing it. 3. Go to silverspot movie theater and look for the validation machine. First floor, hard to miss. 4. Enter your license plate in the validation machine and it will REFUND you the difference of what you paid such that your total charge is $8. 5. Voila, you are validated. It’s a horrible system, and extremely confusing. But you can make it work. Good luck young padawan."

"Rip-off. With validation = $8.00 for 4 hrs, go one minute over 4 hrs and it is $28.00. I suppose the only people going will be those who walk/live near by. All other theaters in Miami are $2.00-4.00 with validation. And if if you go over 4 hrs, the bank is not broken. Even Regal in S Beach is $16.00 max for as long as you stay, where there is much more to do on Lincoln road."
