Sundunes 7979 Gulf Boulevard, Navarre, FL 32566

"I recently stayed at this condo for my family's vacation. The individual unit I stayed in was quite nice. It was recently renovated, and the owner was wonderful to work with. I would be happy to stay in another condo owned by this person...in a different condominium. Unfortunately, the condominium as a whole was in pretty poor shape. First, the pool was closed when we first arrived. It was clear that the pool was recently shocked. There was green algae coating the liner of the pool and the water was clear. The pool was opened the next day; however, the algae remained on the liner. Upon swimming, I noticed that very little water was moving through the pumps, ie poor circulation. The water deteriorated to being completely clouded with algae within a couple of days. The pool was then shocked again and the cycle continued. We did not swim in the pool when it was opened as it's clear that it is not being maintained properly. It was only open for 2 days of our trip anyway so there's that Second, the building itself was in pretty rough shape. It was very dirty overall. Pipes were rusted on the roof of the parking area. There were uncovered electrical boxes that were exposed to the elements and the wire connections were heavily corroded. Spalling concrete was visible on the roof of the parking area and balconies. There were some very large cracks in the facade of the exterior around the northwest side of the building, and there were signs that there have been many repairs to older cracks on the exterior of the building elsewhere. There were also many cracks in the concrete balconies and along walkways in the building. There was also a broken window on one of the floors near the elevator (where the larger cracks in the concrete were observed that was noted previously). Reading through the other reviews, you can see others commenting on the cracks in their units. This is a pervasive problem in this condominium. Overall, I would not stay at this condominium again. I would happily stay in a unit owned by the person I worked with only if it were in a different building. There was plenty of evidence that proper maintenance is not ongoing at this facility which can be a major issue with this high rise condo's."

"I’ve stayed in Navarre every summer for the past 10 years or so. We have always stayed in a house or Navarre Towers. With the beach being more crowded at Navarre Towers we decided to stay at the Sundunes this year. The building is run down and looks like little effort is put into making the condos ready for visitors. We stayed in a penthouse at the top and we’re disappointed with how dirty everything was. My husband had to clean our shower upon arrival because it smelled so bad and had water sitting inside it. We found roaches throughout the apartment. The space is so small and looks so much bigger in pictures. My mom had to call and have someone go and clean our floors because my nieces feet were disgusting after walking on the floor barefoot. We were disappointed. The view was nice. The beach was less crowded but next year we will spend the same amount of money for a house farther down the beach. I wouldn’t waste your money staying at the Sundunes."

"Spring break 2018. Well located, beach front, easy access. Clean, simple. The pool was in the shade. Only morning sun. I didn't see no one using it on the week we were there and we didn't care about pool anyway. We were there for the beach and it was beautiful."
