"Had my garbage disposal replaced and was provided excellent service. Technicians arrived on time and removed the old one and installed the new one without any problems. Everyone I dealt with at the company were polite, professional and most importantly extremely attentive and kind. Highly recommend Handyman Company Jacksonville."
"Cleveland, one of Handyman’s workers did a marvelous job hanging a bifold closet door and mounting a medicine cabinet in my bathroom! I would highly recommend this company based on his work! Burton Mendel"
"Overall, I would rate my experience as pretty good but not great or worthy of 5 stars. Pros: -The office returned my calls/answered the phone -They provided a free estimate -They came out on the weekend vs. weekday when I didn't have availability -The technician was polite -I was very happy with the final result of two of the three projects they completed Cons: -I was given a time the technician was to arrive to provide the estimate but after he was 30 minutes late, I called the office (no answer) and left a VM in hopes someone would check it. I never received a response but about an hour and 15 minutes after my scheduled time, the technician showed up, apologized for being late, and told me that no one had told him he was scheduled for this estimate. -While I was happy with the final result of 2 of the 3 projects, the third (a repair of some crown molding) was a little less desirable. Given the price of the job, I would have liked the final product to be a little more impressive. While the cracks were filled and the molding nailed into place, he only touched up a small corner with paint so the whole thing went from looking like a 3/10 to maybe a 6/10, but definitely not a 10/10 -The technician, while polite, was a smoker and when working outside a few times, was smoking and the smoke was drifting into my home. He was also smoking inside my screened-in patio. -One of my repairs was outside, in my patio area, and when the job was over, the technician left behind a lot of debris (some in piles - so I assume he intended to clean it up) and some of his equipment. I had to call the office to ask them have him come back to pick up his items and asked them to request he do another "sweep" of the patio as there were nails and hardware in the corners. I was gone when he returned, but when I came home, his items were gone and the piles were swept up but I still found debris and nails along the perimeter of my patio area that I had to clean up myself. -The technician left my outside water running which I only noticed because I walked by and saw the hose water running into the flower beds. Had I not walked by, that thing probably would have been running for days or weeks as I don't use it, especially this time of year. -The price was very high, especially considering the whole service. I did have them price out a fence job separately but received much lower quotes from two separate fencing companies so I didn't have them complete that portion. Aside from that, I was charged $950 for labor alone. Given that the technician spent about 10 hours in my home, that's a rate of $95/hour. Even if we were to cut that rate in half to account for admin costs, etc., I still would've expected near perfection at that rate. Again, overall, I'm not upset with the service, but I think if you're going to charge top dollar, you might want to make sure your service is at that level as well. They're reliable but still need some fine tuning."
"The Handyman Company was great! We had 4 fans taken down and replaced with 3 new fans and 1 fandelier. Alex was great. He was professional and courteous and did the work relatively fast. Would gladly use the Handyman's services again!"
"Victor was very professional and helpful. Helped me out with everything I needed and got the job done nice and neat."
