"I need to say this. The things I saw in this cottage is really disturbing. This place is INFESTED WITH ROACHES. he denies it to the fullest. And just says, hey man, it’s Florida. I saw the last person that wrote the same review two months ago. Al’s response was, he has no record of you staying there. He’s lying. I’ll tell you this. You know exactly who I am, we’re the couple from Buffalo that stayed there last may for our anniversary. Infested with roaches. We had to search for a place to stay because this guy has no intention to have this place exterminated. On the the next is his whole motive. You should be ashamed of yourself man. I hope no one books with this Al character. Literally infested with roaches. Save your money and spend the coupe extra bucks and get a hotel. Because you’re gonna have roaches crawling all over you. I’ll post the pics if this guy tries to say otherwise. Start running a clean ship “captain” More importantly, I have a prescription for hydrocodone for my back pain, my wife and I went to lunch and they had The guy from the Internet company come in when we were there, my entire Prescription of hydrocodone, 107 pills to be exact, we’re stolen out of my room. And nothing was done about it. You guys are a disgrace. Without the roaches and thieves, it would be a decent place to stay."

"Loved our one-week stay here(in Tiki Cottage), location is unbeatable and cottages are laidback, cute and comfortable. The beach is only steps away from your front door. We loved the hot tub, and appreciated that the cottages are dog-friendly. The dog-friendly section of Clearwater Beach is only 2-3 blocks away, so it’s a perfect location if you’re travelling with a pup. Capt Al was kind and accommodating, and was very responsive to our needs. Booked through Airbnb and would definitely stay again!"

"DO NOT STAY. Whatever money you think you might be saving just book literally any other option. Pack your bags and run for the hills – this place is basically a five-star resort for roaches. Staying here is like playing a twisted game of "What's that crawling on my foot?" The only recommendation I have for this dump is to avoid it like the plague. Your feet will thank you for not subjecting them to the horror show of filth they'd have to endure."

"The cottage itself was adorable. It is in the vicinity of at least a few bars so if you are a lite sleeper bring plugs. There were people walking by talking loudly every night til 2 or 4 am, then the trash service started running extremely early as well right outside the window. All in all if you like the bar scene, or you don't mind the noise this is a great little place. We didn't feel unsafe at all, just loud."
