Reviews of MiLa
"Offer new customers additional amenities such as an office, swimming pool, or bbq. But the printer always have issues in the office, and no one changes the toner for two weeks. They gave us the key to the grill, but the grill was not working, we cooked the meat on the neighboring grill where other people were cooking, and only one of the three pools works... You have to ask several times to get something fixed in the apartment. They need to reduce prices by 30% and start working faster to get at least 3 stars"
"Would. Not. Recommend. I am currently living here and it’s been 3 years. Believe me i would leave if i could, but there’s legit NOTHING available. In the 3 years I’ve lived here the rent has gone up a total of $750 where im now paying $3,000 for a 2/2. There are 3 pools and a kiddie pool, but only one pool is open. The others have never been opened. Movie theatre, but only open til 5pm. Maintenance takes forever, if they come at all. Parking is a disaster. It took me 2 years to get a garage and luckily it’s next to my building because if you’re coming home anytime after 7pm you’re gonna have to walk buildings away. The gates are a disaster. County line gate is ALWAYS down or broken. On the weekends, if you have guest expect them to wait 45 minutes at the gate to get in. Uber eats/ DoorDash can never find the apartments because google sends them to a different address and most drivers don’t speak English so forget about ordering food. Packages never get delivered and if they do, stolen or usps places them in the wrong building. There’s literally an app for the neighborhood where people talk about their packages being stolen or bikes etc. There are NO GUEST PASSES. In the beginning there were guest passes but that recently changed so when my 60 year old mom visited with a hip problem and coincidentally my car was in the shop, she was told to park in front of the leasing office and walk 5 buildings down. For $3,000 a month i should be able to have my guest park in front of my building. It’s been cold for about 2 weeks and i tried turning on my heat where my entire apartment filled with thick white smoke and i thought my apartment was gonna light on fire but the leasing office told me “it’s fine it’s just cos it hasn’t been ran” WHEN IM TELLING THEM IT WAS MORE THAN JUST DUST BURNING OFF. there’s gaps in the doorways and windows which leads to an incredible bug problem, BUT WORRY NOT cos they have pest prevention that enters your apartment whenever they want with no warning. Since the keys are key fobs, both maintenance and pest control are able to get a key to your apartment. As a single woman WITH A CHILD i have woken up to a grown man in my house 3 different times with NO warning. Management and staff in leasing office is extremely rude and has no understanding what so ever. Don’t even try to call, you have to stop by the leasing office for every single problem. Nothing gets solved over the phone if you can even get someone to answer. ON THE DAY RENT IS DUE, they changed their entire payment options. My bank isn’t local so I’m only able to withdrawal $500 cash a day and they no longer accept money orders or any payments in office so if you wanna pay with your card it’s not a small fee, but $100. In the beginning, when i moved in it was very quiet and calm, now there’s a new tenant in my building every month, kids in the surrounding neighborhoods hop the fence and hang out in the amenities you pay for so now they’re overcrowded and don’t expect security to respond no matter how many times you call. The “business office” has computers but make sure to bring your own paper in advance because they don’t offer that. There is nothing “luxury” about these apartments after the first 6 months of living here. Everything outside of our gates is in the ghetto. There was a shooting ON MY FLOOR IN MY HALLWAY and i never received a call, email, no update, and only knew because i came home to crime tape blocking off my hallway and bullet holes in the wall that have still yet to be fixed. I asked the leasing office what happened and obviously asked for information since it happened 3 doors down and they “didn’t know” and offered no update. The grills are available but only til 6pm when the leasing office closes so if you are cooking dinner around dinner time (typically around 6 or later) prepare not to have your drivers license until the next morning when the office reopens. Everything about these apartments are inconvenient. Luxury needs to be removed from their sign."
"The leasing office manager Nicole and her team (specifically Yesenia) do and outstanding job every time i have had an issue with maintenance or my rent. The Mila also offers numerous programs that assist with your rental payment if you have any issue. It is a shame that the tenants do not take pride in their home as much as they should. But my time since moving in has been great. The gym and pool is amazing...the family atmosphere in the community is warm"
"This is literally my 7 months in this apartment and let me tell you it is what the review say it is, I was willing to deal with the broken gate, the long time to get inside the gate too, especially from the visitor lane. The multiple dog poop on the grass. But this one was my last straw literally poop right next to my apartment door and trash on stairs mind you I don’t even own a dog. Despite multiple attempts to get the manager to clean the poop off the ground they ignore me and now it has been 5 days. I am so ready to move out because for the price they don’t do nothing to assist you. Their office may look luxury but it’s far from what this apartment hallway looks like. For thousands of dollars this is definitely not worth it."
