Douglas Gardens North at Miami Jewish Health is a community offering affordable housing to low-income independent seniors aged 62 and older. Located at 705 Southwest 88th Avenue in Pembroke Pines, Florida, United States, our institution consists of three HUD Section 202 buildings with plans for a new mixed-income community to be completed in late 2024. Currently, there are no openings and we are not accepting applications or names for a waitlist.
In partnership with HealthTrust and HUD, we have developed a vibrant senior community on our 25 acre campus in Pembroke Pines. Our spacious one- and two-bedroom apartments come with a variety of amenities to ensure all residents can thrive. We are committed to providing more than just housing – we offer services to keep residents learning, active, and engaged.
At Miami Jewish Health, we strive to honor and enrich lives with empathy, purpose, and grace. Visitation is allowed in accordance with current CMS directives, CDC recommendations, and Florida state guidelines. "This is a fixed income retirement community located in Pembroke Pines, right behind Memorial Hospital Manor. There are 2 buildings and the area is pretty quiet and the grounds are kept neatly. There are plenty of parking, and the entrances are controlled by code. The people are pretty nice here for the most part. Good community."

"My grandpa has been staying here since it opened. There's a computer room, library, tv in the lobby. Weekly events and a bus that takes him to Publix or the doctor as well as other places. Everyone here is friendly and ample amount of parking. If you are even considering this place, do it. There's new buildings opening up and it looks like there's more to come. It's safe, kept clean and you can tell the people here care. Bless."
