"Update: my car was broken into, no parking lot lights and zero cameras here, I literally walk out to my car at 6 am, just to find my window busted out and my belongings missing, DO NOT move here, I’d cancel my lease if the charge wasn’t over 3k to do so. I’ve lived here for 2 years and let me say, it has been a complete shame, the apartments are infested with roaches, you tell them about it and they blame it on the other tenants, so if you move here, you will get roaches, you will not get rid of them because of the other “tenants” They don’t do online payment, so if you’re a busy person, you’ll have to find time to go in office to pay rent, the pool is beyond filthy, the gym is basically useless. Other thing, they are biased here, they’ll give you a notice saying that you’ve violated your lease because of something that all other tenants are doing. When I asked them why haven’t the other tenants gotten a notice, they told me to just worry about me. My neighboring units still are doing the same things as me and they have not received a notice like I have. I even brought it to the offices attention and asked for the manager, she just sat in her office and basically did not give one care about anything. You can go rent somewhere else that’ll provide online payment, better living conditions “without roaches” and a parking lot that doesn’t floods with a slight fall of rain. Spend your extra $100-$150 somewhere else, you’ll be happy."
"August 2023: Same old. And you cannot speak to manager not even passing her on the complex. Maybe she's not a fan of black folks. Bring back Jose. After my last complaintS, I'm going to corporate or the BBB. Even though, FS Residential seems to operate on the low end as well. But I'll be back to review. January 2023: Been living here almost three years and since then have restrained myself from making an honest review. They promise you things that you will never get. The pool has been closed since 2020. The gym has been closed since before I've moved in. Most of the office assistants have either quit or been replaced. And while they are trying to find permanent replacement the office will be closed spontaneously. The emergency line number either doesn't work or just doesn't serves its purpose. The parking lot is always flooded so your car is either messed up by sitting in the flooded areas or it'll get towed. Oh also you cannot back in whether it's flooded or not so you risk getting towed. Roaches are very present. They're pest control company is very elementary - if you speak to the rep about literally controlling the pest he's uneducated. The tenants leave trash all over. You walk by units and smell weed - just a very bad turn off."
"This started out a decent place to live, as time passed it has gotten worse. Rent is increasing and nothing around the place is being done. As for as the beatification around the property is none existent. The wash rooms floors were done over, but the same regularly washer and dryer were placed back in there. One would think they would have fixed the doors and provided keys to tenants. When things are broken they just paint over it and the paint just chips again. I had a flooding called the emergency number 3 times and not one call back, the first call around 2:30am. The maintenance came at 8am and at least 5 units that I am aware of was effective, a customer water heater exploded. I went to the office to voice my concerns about no one responding to the emergency. The manager kept saying I didn’t call and left messages, I’m telling her I did. The manager kept trying to discredit what I was saying, I responded instead of trying to tell me what I didn’t do try listening to the tenant. As I was not getting any where with the conversation I just left, new management has taken over. There are rats in the dumpster area and the noise be loud when thing get quiet from the rats. The elevator certificate is about 3 years old and needs to be serviced regularly, not when just a problem. There are no garbage disposal, that could be the problem with the rats an the roaches. The pool no one could never used for one it’s never working, you can only use it when working is when the office is open, been here 6 years. There are outlets that are not useable in the unit there is an electrical problem. They should have sent notices out that the office has new staffs."
"RUN AWAY!!!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. This was probably the worst experience I've ever had and this was my very first apartment. Roach Infested, Getting towed for no reason even though you are a resident, Management who sits around and does absolutely nothing, Loud and dirty neighbors. The only person that was nice at that office was jay and they got rid of him SMH!! Please be smart and use your money somewhere else, BTW my apartment looked ABSOLUTELY NOTHING LIKE THE MODEL THEY SHOWED ME! I was extremely upset I didn't see my unit until Move-in Day and it looked terrible."
"Where do I begin??? Well first off do not move here. They will try to rob you with no gun. They are attempting to keep a security deposit although they have no real reason to they trying take almost a $1000 to repaint a unit after being occupied for more than two years. If they will charge something like that for normal wear and tear. I recommend no one move there... I'm contacting the city of Lauderdale lakes and code enforcement on them. I can't believe they have the nerve look at how they keep they foundation. Jose refused to repaint the tub and now trying to charge us. the tubs was painted with regular paint and they try to charge you resurface something that was never done. They also trying to charge for ceilings, I’m so happy I have my degree in private investigation and documented everything when moving in. I will be reporting them to everyone and anyone I’m allowed to. They will be losing more than a security deposit amount when I’m done. DO NOT MOVE HERE……"
