Via Lugano Apartments

"I have lived in this community since September 2022. I love where I live, my neighbors, the office staff and the maintenance staff. This is the first community I’ve lived in that I enjoy every part of this community. I recently needed temporary modified adjustments to my apartment for a broken knee. While I was in rehab they prepared my home for my return just as requested and did a follow up to make sure the request was completed to my liking. Considering all the communities to choose from I’d highly recommend for anyone looking to put this on the top of your list."

"It’s a shame that you’re required to leave a minimum 1 star when this place doesn’t deserve it. My BF and I have been here for about a year and to say it’s disappointing, is putting it lightly. The kitchen is a joke. Poorly hung cabinets (not level), the white plastic paneling over the cabinet doors/drawers is lifting/cracked/air pockets. The dishwasher is not secured, the disposal rubber sink insert is cut in half. Two months ago, the A/C was leaking (this was a previous repair), they had to cut another hole to replace a fan, but then said that a 3rd party has to come out and repair the drywall…. We haven’t heard from anyone about when they’re going to come “rEpAiR tHe DrYwALl”!! The parking is an absolute NIGHTMARE. You’re not allowed to park along the curb and now they’re using caution tape and cones to “block” the office parking - in our building there is a tenant that has 3 vehicles… and unfortunately with how much it cost to live here you have to have several people/couples to afford the rent, so yea…. Parking is going to be a joke. But now you’re blocking off the office spots??? The garbage, or should I say the LANDFILL in the front of the neighborhood is absolutely disgusting. Constantly overflowed. There’s no wonder why people have roaches and why there’s a severe rodent problem. A rat that was the size of a small dog jumped out of the garbage can when we were walking to get the mail. Nearly sent me into cardiac arrest! The gym is always filled with a bunch of unsupervised kids, blaring their music and hanging out on the equipment. The pool has been “out of service” for months. The gates are always broken. This place is an absolute joke. WE CANNOT WAIT TO MOVE OUT OF HERE!!! SAVE YOURSELVES AND YOUR MONEY!!"

"I am a tenant here who has lived at Via Lugano for 5+ years and I have never ever had a bad experience here. The office staff are great and accommodating, and the maintenance staff are excellent. I can put in a work order at 9AM, and by 12PM the same day the issue is resolved. I am not sure how they have all these negative reviews honestly! The staff can't control the pool & fence distribution issues. Parts are on back order, that is a fact. Via Lugano will be my home for at least a few more years! "I wish it didnt have to come to this where I had to post this but what can I say. My fiancé and I have had our WORST experience ever in this apartment complex. Ever since we have gotten here in September, there have been dozens of issues in the apartment when it comes to all the appliances and nothing ever gets fixed. We were promised new appliances and that didn't happen either prior to moving in. Along with all the issues we faced in the apartment, the main amenity of the pool has been shut down since we moved in for just a fence that needs to be built which I have seen no progress on. The hallways are absolutely disgusting and smell everyday because the trash doesn't get picked up on time which I also pay for. On top of all of that, there is a major bug issue here and it is disgusting. I advise everyone to stay clear of living in this apartment complex at all costs. This complex now has the audacity to come after us for 40$ after throwing out our really expensive table prior to the lease ending. I have never been so happy to move out of such a horrible complex and area."

"Please listen to the reviews and stay far away from this apartment complex. I moved out 2 months ago after living in Via Lugano for 5 years. When I first moved in, the apartment complex was great. Good staff, security worker, working gates, not a bad community. However, as time went on. It became HORRIBLE. So many crimes took place here. Two people were shot and one died in the community. Staff completely unprofessional and rude. Carrie does a terrible job as a representative, because before leaving my apartment, one of the pipes in my apartment broke, completely flooding the apartment, damaging my carpet and bringing in ROACHES. Rather than handling the aftermath of the damage correctly, which required staying somewhere else while pest control was handled, I was forced to live 8 weeks with German cockroaches. When I left, I knew the quality of my apartment. It needs MAJOR repair. There were still roaches living in my apartment, the carpet was horrible, there was mold on the ceiling. I came to find out that a WEEK LATER, someone new was taking over my apartment. Do not live here. Totally not worth it."
