Reviews of The Oasis at Moss Park Preserve
"While the initial impressions of Moss Park Preserve might be promising, my experience as a resident has fallen short of expectations. While I appreciate the community's features, certain issues have significantly impacted my living experience, which I believe warrant feedback for potential improvement. Initial Cleanliness: Upon move-in, the master bathroom and balcony were unfortunately not cleaned to an acceptable standard. Despite raising this concern three times, I encountered less-than-ideal service at the front desk, culminating in a delayed resolution that involved me missing a workday due to their limited inspection hours. Persistent Air Conditioning Issues: The apartment's air conditioning system has consistently Malfunctioned. Unfortunately, the problem persists, leaving the living environment uncomfortable. Noise Concerns: The noise level on the fourth floor is noticeably high, with significant disturbance from neighboring apartments. This creates an unwelcome disruption to peaceful living. Key Malfunction and Limited Access: My apartment key frequently malfunctions, hindering access and causing frustration. Additionally, the policy prohibiting children from entering social facilities feels unnecessarily restrictive and inconvenient for families. Overall Experience: While I acknowledge potential for Moss Park Preserve to be a pleasant community, the repeated issues with cleanliness, service, amenities, and noise significantly detract from the overall experience. I believe improvements in these areas are crucial for creating a truly welcoming and comfortable environment for residents. While I understand that challenges can arise in any living situation, the frequency and nature of these issues, coupled with the lack of responsiveness from the front desk, unfortunately lead me to advise potential residents to consider other options. I hope this feedback can contribute to positive change and improvements for future residents of Moss Park Preserve. Additionally, I would deeply appreciate the opportunity to discuss these concerns directly with a representative from the real estate company. My hope is to work collaboratively towards finding solutions that address these issues and enhance the living experience for myself and other residents. Please, at your earliest convenience, could you connect me with the appropriate individual to address these matters?"
"Visited a friend here at 11:05pm this past Wednesday and was not aware of guest parking or the threat of being towed. Was literally there for one hour and there were plenty of parking spots open so availability was not an issue. I came out to discover my car was stolen but it was not. It was towed. Major problems because I needed to leave for a business trip to Atlanta the next morning at 4:30am and the tow company was not open until 8am. I had to leave my car there for two days until I returned costing $211. Why not use stickers or some kind of warning rather than just tow? I understand you have rules and ignorance is not an excuse but no need for this extreme when the complex has ample parking and there is not threat of danger from a bad neighborhood or guests. Such a mean spirit ownership group with no sense of decency. This is usually a sign of other larger problems with management. Would expect much better but now expect a future of much worse from a complex with this approach. Thumbs down and absolutely ridiculous behavior."
"I have had a mold problem with the washing machine since I moved in. We had flakes of mold all over our clothes when we did laundry. Over months I called the leasing office. All they'd do is send over maintenance to look at it. Maintenance said everyone in the complex was having this problem. Almost everyone in the leasing office I talked to said I was the only person with this. Maintenance came and did their best to clean the mold out. Nothing worked. After months of washing our clothes with mold and picking off the flakes, I washed a clear shower curtain and brought it to the leasing office covered in flakes of mold to clearly show them the issue. They gaslighted me the whole time. "That mold was there when you put it in the washer" "It is how you are washing it, you are using bleach and then switching to detergent so it is causing that" "It's the water in the area and there is nothing we can do" I told them, the shower curtain was clean before and I don't use bleach to clean, and if it's a water issue, then that is a big problem with the tap water being unsafe. They said they'd look into changing out our washer. It has to be the same brand/ model because they have a contract with Samsung. I said okay, and I literally never heard from them again. 6 months or more had passed. It was my fault for not being more proactive, but I thought it just was taking a while to get the washer or something. The mold in the end got so bad, it completely covered a load of laundry I was doing. I had to hand wash it in the bathtub for over 4 hours, hard back breaking, picking out all of the mold by hand and spraying my clothes one by one in the bathtub. I was in so much pain. This was after work as well. I was so tired. I had to throw away some of my underwear because the mold was deep into the liners and I could not get it all out. At that point, I was at my wits end. The office said they would send maintenance finally with the new washer. Thank God. It arrived when I was at work, but my boyfriend was home. Maintenance said it was refurbished, it was the same brand and model but the mold in this one was cleaned out. Maintenance started the washer and left to show it working. It had ran, I came home, overjoyed, I opened it up and there was mold all along the side of the washer! The washer they gave us was also damaged with huge dents and scratches. I went up to the leasing office explaining everything and begging for help. She said the same thing I had been hearing all year, that there was nothing she could do but write a ticket, we couldn't get a different washer because of a contract the complex has, she would have to send maintenance to come look at it the next day. I asked if I could speak to the leasing manager. I saw someone sitting in the leasing manager office at the desk. She said, "No, she is at the sister complex next door. She comes back on Tuesday." I said, "Okay, I will come back tomorrow to try to talk to her." She said, "No, she is here mainly on Tuesday but she might not be here tomorrow because she is at the sister complex a lot now. But maintenance will come by tomorrow." I got the impression they did not want me to talk to the leasing manager. I said I won't be by to talk to maintenance in person because I will be at work, but my boyfriend will be home. So I agreed that I would wait talk to someone until after the next maintenance visit. I come home expecting a different version of the same washer, and I was wrong, It was a new washer! Different brand and different model! It worked perfectly and we have had absolutely no mold since! All should be well, but I am beyond frustrated it took so long and was so difficult to get this resolved. I feel lied to and gaslit. I do not trust the people working here and neither should you. Do not move here."
"I moved in September with my toddler and dog. I have been so happy and impressed with the property and all the workers since day one. Everyone is so nice and service requests are taken care of so quickly. Amenities are all great and the property is maintained super well!"
"Really love the community. It is well maintained and quiet. Great amenities in the apartments that were a fit for me and a good value for the area. Would recommend living here!"
