Reviews of Forest Meadows East Apartments
"I love it here! Moved here from Miami about two weeks ago. It's very quiet over here. No noisy neighbors. I like the fact that I live close to everything. There's a Walmart, dollar tree, family dollar, sams club, and Aldi within five minutes of here. Good schools with accommodations if your child is on an IEP. It's very spacious inside too. Lots of cabinet space, and a pantry outback. It has a washer hookup (no dryer) but there is a close line. Me and my family absolutely love it here."
"The management lady's BOTH r very very very rude and unprofessional also the heavy set maintenance man. Also a maintenance guy is as well. I'm gonna call rural housing on them. Since the very first day that I was there to fill out my application they were very disrespectful and rude. If I didn't need a place to live asap then I would of walked out and went somewhere else. There is ZERO need for them to be rude as I never seen them before I walked in the door that day. If they don't like there jobs, can't treat people like they wanna be treated then they need to find different jobs. There poop doesn't smell any different then anyone else's. I'm with and they r not. I'm wondering if it's cuz of my color. So I rather not deal with them at all. I just deal straight with public housing from here on out. The other maintenance guys and the people I live by r extremely nice. I don't think they give the other maintenance guys credit for all the good work they do. Oh there is 1 neighbor that tells the office everything. My dog snuck out of my apartment and went to my car as he loves going for rides. They reported that but failed to report one neighbor not having their dog on the leash while taking it outside. Another neighbor having visitors over with their music extremely loud. Witch I have video on. I think that lady is as well racist and doesn't have anything better to do with his or her time. I'll call public housing and tell them what's going on but right after that I'm calling rural housing and/or the governor cuz there is ZERO excuse as to why I should be treated like this way EXPECIALLY since I just got out from my husband holding me captive. I only been here since September 11th. My front apartment door wouldn't lock one manager Ashley came to my apartment with the heavier set maintenance guy and they locked it with no problem as he had a glove on. I wonder what was on it. ASHLEY was very rude and very UNPROFESSIONAL. At that time he was nice. Probably cuz thats the very first time i had seen him. I called the NIGHT BEFORE and at that day no one came until I called the office 2 or 3 times and asked when they were coming as I had a dr appointment. I had to miss that appointment as I'm not leaving my house door unlocked. Then later that night the problems were there still. I wrote up a maintenance request under housing authority and the maintenance guys came and fixed with with no problems. I personally think that they all need to change their attitudes, work professionally and learn how people should be treated like how I should treat them and that's respect. I'm sorry if ya'll r having a bad day but when u walk in that office u r to leave all that at home of not treat a person badly since ur having a bad day. I will not deal with them from here on out ill go strictly to public housing and deal with them as they treated me like a human."
"At this point we have a great management team as well as maintenance staff. I think they are doing a fantastic job !!"
"I have been living here for three years now and it seems to be a very quiet place I haven't had any problems only thing I can say is that the maintenance don't get the jobs done half of the time like they should the fun in that this is a good place to live especially if you have children"
"The worst office staff ever, seems like they fire and hire a different apartment manager every 6 months to a year or so. Their accountant, or whoever keeps track of the rent can't count or has a delay somewhere in doing numbers because for months they were crediting me back whole money orders for overpaid rent but sending me late rent/eviction warning notices all at the same time. The maintenance crew is completely awful! You're supposed to send a written notice and have the issue(s) resolved within 24-48 hours, never happens within that time frame. They send out inspection letters back to back and never come although the dates on the letters are sometimes for a full 30 days (4/11/18-5/11/18) and no one ever shows up. Once they do decide to inspect, they mark you for EVERYTHING, things that have NOTHING to do with the unit itself. So what if there's a dish or two in my sink, or a sink FULL of dishes, that isn;t causing any harm to your unit; I've never had roaches so that's definitely not an issue. SO WHAT if my clothes are in baskets and not on hangers or in a dresser drawer, HOW IS THAT HARMING YOUR UNIT IN ANY WAY?? It isn't. I've lived in (better) public housing before and they've never had such ridiculous requirements for an inspection before. Forest Meadows is the most wannabe bougie housing project development I've ever seen and if nothing else motivates me to become a homeowner, then living here has done it! So that I wouldn't have to deal with this from these horrible people and their nasty attitudes. I also believe they think they're somehow superior to the tenants because they live in public housing. However, I can easily tell that I am much more educated and probably get paid more than the entire staff so never judge a book by its cover! I could go on and on, but I've said enough. Just do not move out here if you're considering it! Reconsider!"
