"Don’t go there.!!!! They charge my application fee twice. Now, they are telling me that it might take 30-60 days for me be able to get a refund. Besides, they never showed me the apartment that I was trying to apply for. They never found the key, but asked for the money right away. Also, they had me two days waiting and then I was supposed to get an email or someone should call me to tell me if I was or wasn’t approved. Nobody did it and when I came to see what was going on, they told me they were running late processing the applications. Too many issues, Don’t ever come here."
"Zero stars is what management at Boathouse has earned especially Carlos. He’s a liar. I ended up getting hurt on the job the very day we were to sign our lease. ( not their fault ) My wife and I were so looking forward to having an apartment after being homeless for several months. Sadly my wife was disabled. ( I am currently disabled as well partly due to my injury and other issues to )And until I lost my job while on light duty my rent was paid. But not always on time. I had two small lawsuits going on due to me getting injured. I got a small settlement in March and paid my current rent and a month in advance. Got tax money and paid. I April I’d talked to management about a letter of protection from my wife’s lawyer as she has a sizable lawsuit going on. The letter guarantees late fees and all rent being paid prior to her getting her month. Carlos said get that letter. We did. I present with it. And because it was in my wife’s email he didn’t want to sign it. Saying that can can be anyone signing it. He said email me a copy of it. So my wife did. He said it would be taken care of. I go back in June to check on it. Nothing had happened. This was in July. He had sat on the letter of protection after telling me not to worry. It will all be ok. And that the letter will be signed by upper management. He never sent it to them. And this was after a lady from upper management calling me from Texas. I told her about the letter. She said yes please get the letter. Next thing we know we get eviction papers in the mail. We ended up moving out mid August. I turned the keys in on August 14 , 2023 @ 9:30 am. That afternoon final judgment was passed. Even though they had the keys they didn’t let their lawyer nor the court know we turned they in. I just learned a Witt was signed September 27,2023. Wow really. Carlos you are a worthless piss poor excuse of a human being. You’re not good enough to be called human debris. I say this because you’d rather see two disabled people evicted and that go on their credit history than to help them and make sure the letter of protection got signed."
"I wish I could put zero stars. The management here is so rude and do not take complaints seriously. The maintence staff is always on their golf carts throwing trash all around the property. Our water is constantly shut off without notice as well. For the price of rent we are paying they are not taking care of the property as it should. The washers and dryers are usually out of order and the pool is closed most of the time. We have a security gate at the front but it is never in use, constant shootings and break ins as well. Our mail has been stolen multiple times because the mailbox locks do not work. If you are thinking of renting here do not make the same mistake, they also raise your rent $100 every year. Update: I have already contacted your management company, multiple emails, phone calls and I have filled out the form online with no response. It's an automatic machine everytime I try to call and no one has answered any of my emails."
"If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I got approved to move into this place from a different state almost a month ago they took my deposit. I paid all the fees that I was supposed to pay trying to get these people on the phone to communicate with me about when I can move it and to let them know that I’m coming from a different state has been like trying to get in contact with the President. I haven’t gotten any calls back any emails anything at this point I am ready to get in contact with my lawyer so he can take the next steps to help me get my deposit back. This is unprofessional I can’t even get anyone on the phone so I can imagine with the living conditions would be like"
"Ms. Brown was my leasing agent. She was very professional and answered all my questions. I received fast and efficient service. I lived at Boat House a few years back and had no Major issues that they didn't take care of."
