"After being told to report our concerns about the number of people to one unit(10) it was blown off like we didn't even mention it. Option to move to a flat away from the noise was our only option. They only respond to post like these to save face but will actually do nothing to fix the problem. Pretty soon it may be time to involve the state. This place is a hidden gem but not for much longer. Every weekend more people move in to already occupied units and they pour out quick to get their freinds in. I have nonproblem with migration but their are very defined codes for safety reasons but the owner doesn't seem to mind as long as they are getting paid. Wonder why trash is piles so high around dumpster but with so many people to one unit, it's avoidable. Time to write the Governor since the mayor obviously isn't paying attention. Publicly posted pictures will be next so potential tenants will be aware and not lied to just to get them in. Ask around town and they'll tell you that place is like going to a different country."
"I would rate my experience here as mostly favorable. I have always found the maintenance department and the rental office personnel to be very prompt and professional when I have a request. However, the situation with the garbage dumpster and removal is deplorable. I will agree that some of the problem is related to residents being sloppy with placing their garbage inside the dumpster, but one dumpster and once per week removal is totally inadequate for a community of this size. There should be at least two removals per week. I am also disappointed that this community doesn't recycling whereas the town we are located in (Green Cove Springs) does. Another issue is the landscaping company whose work is inconsistent. They infrequently if ever, remove weeds and never remove old mulch before dumping in more. Ground covering plants are generally allowed to grow up to 4-6 feet from the edge of the buildings. Finally, I would like to be able to have a lease that lasts for at least 24-36 months rather than the current maximum allowed 16 months. "It's not bad as people make it seems. I can leave my door open and no one will come in. This is my 3rd year out here and second apartment. I leave stuff outside on the porch and no one takes it. The office management is remarkably great. They are very reasonable as long as you communicate with them. If you have an issue they will go above and beyond hiring professional help to solve it. At the end of the day you get what you pay for. I was lucky to be in a good building where people don't hang out or too loud. Yes it's a lot of cats out here. However what part of Green Cove doesn't have cats."
"I’ve had an overall decent experience here. It’s not as bad as I was led to believe. I feel like management is trying & doing its best to work on issues. If you are nice to them, they’ll be nice to you. The ladies in the office are the absolute sweetest. Nothing is perfect in life but if you want affordable housing in relatively safe area it’s a good choice. I wish we had more than 1 place to take the trash though. Access to a water hose would be nice too. But the utilities are dirt cheap & that alone has me signing another lease."
"We love our little place. The apartments are dated, but well maintained. It is quiet, and beautiful outside. Our neighbors are very friendly and neighborly. The staff for the complex is helpful and quick to respond. I have been told it used to be not so great here, but that is not true anymore. The new management is great! I definitely recommend living here."
