"Management at this building completely sucks, they are condescending and have zero customer service experience. When you’re trying to move in they are the nicest and as soon as you do and run into a problem (which you will) they play dumb. It is a complete joke. Starting with the parking situation!!! If you have more than one car in your household forget about it! There aren’t enough parking spaces inside the garage for the amount of residents with cars so you will be forced to park in the visitor area for which you are forced to pay extra, your visitors also run the risk of getting their car TOWED even if they are visiting for only few MINUTES. It is unbelievable. Moving on to the mail. DREADFUL. They have the locker system which is great in every other building I have lived but here? They simply don’t care, they will throw your packages into the biggest locker along with hundreds, they pile them up and this makes it impossible to look for anything. We have had stolen packages because of this too, nobody does anything about it, it is impossible to track this. If so need repair nobody speaks English. It is also IMPOSSIBLE to reach the management office by phone (unless of course you are looking to move in which is simply ridiculous) Some times the front of the building won’t even close completely giving free access to just anybody. Honestly we cant wait until our lease is up to get out. If you are planning on moving here just DON’T please save yourself."
"Living at The Landmark South has been a great experience over the last year and getting to renew has been an honest pleasure. On top of a beautiful building, great amenities, and a wonderful apartment, the team in the leasing office is wonderful to work with, from the Property Manager to all the leasing agents and even everyone in maintenance, they are always there to support you as best they can and to share a smile when you swing by. Cant thank them all enough for making The Landmark South feel like home."
"I just moved from Hawaii and had been searching for a place to live for a week. I came into Landmark South and was greeted by Mrs. Paula who was very kind and accommodating. She gave me a tour Of the apartments and amenities. Out of all the apartments tours I have taken Mrs. Paula was the most genuine person, the experience reminded me of being back home in Hawaii. The price of this place is quite good for being in the Miami area. There are stores and restaurants within walking distance. Paula if you read this Thanks again for the help"
"Searching for a place to live, go visit Paula at Landmark South, with in 30 minutes I had picked out an apartment and completed the application. Could not believe how easy and pain free the whole process was. Landmark guides you step by step, before you know it you’re settled in to your new home. I travel a lot and worry about paying rent on time, no problem, I pay it online from anywhere using my phone. Landmark South is modern, clean and has grocery stores, gas stations and restaurants, literally, across the street. One of my favorite aspects of Landmark South is their onsite security, keeping the property and my vehicle safe. Thanks again to Paula and the Staff of the leasing office for making the process easy and fun. Robert Woods"
"I’ve lived here for 4 years and this place went downhill fast. This property boasts three 8-story buildings, with strong scents of dog urine alongside the entrance of each building, dog feces visible everywhere, dirty hallway carpets, and trash in the stairwells and parking garage. Loud music, and a constant smell of marijuana through the lobbies, floors, and off balconies are the bonuses you get when leasing one of their beautiful units. If that doesn’t pique your interest, you can always count on hours and hours of dogs barking and babies crying. When reaching out to the office, be sure to exercise patience as little or nothing is done to combat the aforementioned. Maintaining the grounds, doors/key fobs, and parking gates are seemingly a luxury, if and when they work. However, fret not, there’s onsite security to patrol the empty parking lots - ready and willing to distribute tickets as needed to residents and guests, surely as a token of their appreciation. Part of the perks of this property is the heightened stress you will achieve trying to retrieve packages from the state of the art Luxor system. Not only doesn’t it work half the time, but your packages are often missing or misplaced. While enjoying the opulence provided by this area, you will quickly realize that all the amenities shown during your visit will offer unkempt common areas, worn or discolored furniture, and broken equipment (including elevators), neither being a priority of management’s to rectify. At Landmark, the highest priority is not the residents, cleanliness, property upkeep, or safety, but making sure that rent is increased accordingly, despite the atrocities, and that it’s paid on time. I have lived in Florida for 12 years, specifically Doral for 10, and in those years have never had an issue or complaint, let alone a review, about any of the communities I’ve rented in. In this case, I felt compelled. Not going to miss living here. In addition to the above, I received a lovely call from the office to tell me that my review, despite the pictures, was wrong and promptly hung up on. In spite of any action taken to “clean up,” my experience since the decline of this property. stands."
