Reviews of Estero Parc
"SMOKER - SMOKER - SMOKER FRIENDLY COMMUNITY.. cigarette and weed smoke constantly comes through , plumbing, the walls, and outlets. It’s making my pillows smell, my clothes, and the entire apartment smells like a smoker’s home. It’s absolutely disgusting and highly unhealthy living here if you are a non smoker person. I had to put all my clothes back in the moving boxes. The management does absolutely nothing about it. I was just given a number to call a courtesy officer who had no idea what to do when I first called. All the other calls I made after that were dismissed. . I pay over 2500 dollar rent and quickly became a second hand smoker. You will see trash , rodents, dog waste 24/7 everywhere but the cigarette smell INSIDE YOUR UNIT is absolutely unavoidable / unacceptable. I got trapped in a year lease that was supposed to be smoke free. Don’t make the same mistake I made."
"For a $2,000+ monthly rent, you will receive thin walls, random rises in your rent without a heads-up, dog feces everywhere, college kids throwing their vape disposables outside, a warm pool, and a tiny gym where no more than four people would be able to fit in. Water that smells like eggs, and by the way, sometimes your water pressure will lower randomly every three months, and you have to call maintenance. I tried to like this place. I wanted to enjoy Estero Parc due to grocery stores, entertainment, and schools being so close by but it is not for me. My only pros with this area are the maintenance men; they do their job great, and I appreciate everything they do for this community."
"I cannot stress enough how thin the walls are. I am dreading moving in with my boyfriend. Being here has subjected me to never-ending footsteps, alarm clocks, conversations, vacuum cleaners, and even the seemingly innocuous sound of someone pulling out a dining chair echoes through the walls. The notion that this construction could result in a "relaxing, comfortable, enjoyable, luxury apartment" seems misguided, as it appears to lack any effective sound control or insulation between the floors, making the claim questionable for anyone with functional hearing...My boyfriend moved in here two weeks ago and I constantly find myself ready to go home back to my quiet apartment. And for reference, I live underneath people and have not had a sound issue in the 4 years I’ve lived there. Attempting to hang out, catch a nap, or sleep past 6am on the weekends is a futile endeavor. I've never experienced such a loud and disruptive living space before. It honestly feels like punishment and to add insult to injury I’d literally be paying thousands of dollars for it if I moved in. I was so thrilled about finding a place so close to work to move in with my boyfriend when my lease ends but the excitement has been replaced with dread due to the incessant noise. Considering the ceilings are paper-thin. I would STRONGLY caution anyone accustomed to the peace and quiet or those who work from home to avoid the first and second floor at all costs."
"Pros: Maintenance staff quick to respond and fix issues; leasing office staff courteous and also respond quickly via email, phone, etc.; they do a nice job organizing social events for the community too!; pool area is really nice and never overpopulated, apartment has big bedrooms with good closet space; kitchen is nicely designed and aesthetically appealing (do wish the fridge had an ice maker though); community is generally quiet/peaceful with few to no “incidents”; very dog friendly with a decent dog park and plenty of stations to dispose of waste. Cons: there are quite a few restricted dog breeds around the community; many residents do not pick up after their dogs and have them off leash but that’s on them and not really much more EsteroParc can do about it; the noise from the above apartment does get loud but again the residents themselves need to be more considerate and not vacuum at 3 in the morning for example; there are many ant mounds and general ant activity on the surrounding property and my dog keeps getting bit; sometimes is hard to get a parking spot late at night but overall not too bad an issue"
"Honestly not worth the price. There's not enough parking due to management either not caring enough to implement an assigned parking system or there was incompetence when the place was originally planned and built. For 2100 per month, I shouldn't have to park at the grocery store next to the development so that some college kids can have 15+ people live in their units and take all the parking spots from people who are ACTUALLY on a lease. Speaking of college kids, I hope you're alright with finding an entire bottle of vodka poured out in the only elevator occasionally or almost getting run over by people who don't know how to use the roundabout at the front and end up going against traffic multiple times... Besides that, the walls are thin, water heater is extremely small, the water will smell like straight eggs/sulfur for the first 2-3 weeks you move in, parking gate has been broken for months, and management will be impossible to get ahold of besides literally walking down to the office because their phone lines automatically send you to an off campus corporate call center where they could literally not care less about your issues because you've already signed a lease. Units themselves are designed nicely but for the price I really expected more. Edit: lowering it to a one. As someone else mentioned recently the amount of massive dogs running around here without a leash is insane. There's literally a dog park in the development so WHY are these people able to break the rules so easily? There's no less than 5 different ones I've seen in the last week alone. Not to mention, pretty much all of them are restricted breeds so I doubt they're even on these people's leases. I guess I should've just lied and saved myself some money ¯\_(ツ)_/¯"
