Reviews
"Loved the Dean! Our apartment was spacious and quiet. We enjoyed the events downtown and the music."
"Don't even answer the phone."
"I lived here from February 2021 to August 2021. My leaving had nothing to do with the building, and I incurred the fees expected for breaking a lease. This is a decent place to live. I paid $1,200/mo for a one bedroom apartment, so if your rent is more than that, ask about what improvements have been made. The staircase is exceptionally narrow, which made moving furniture difficult. The elevator was out about once a week, including the day I moved out, which was hell on Earth. Staff is very difficult to reach. While Internet is provided in the building, you'll want your own if you plan in doing anything more taxing than streaming media or more private than checking email. The setup process for my internet took me three weeks, as I was unable to get ahold of the office staff. Very loud, but if you're a night life person, you'll love it."
"This apartment building is in the best location possible. Located right in downtown with everything you will ever need just within walking distance. Highly recommended."
"I lived in the Dean for almost 1 year. They underwent many changes during my stint. Kelley is now the business manager and is very attentive to a tenants needs if she is available. There were many times that when she was absent from work for the day and it was hard to find someone to help. Troy is the new maintenance guy and is light years better than they previous two maintence guys. He actually works "regular hours" and gets things accomplished. The floor plans are rather small and are really suited for single living. You'll want to live here if you enjoy a dowtown scene with bars, clubs, and restaurants. However, you'll need to sleep though constant, loud music until 2 am. There are leaks and at times you'll run into a cockroach. The bug company they use does a horrible job spraying. "Bugs everywhere", like the last review says, is a little over the top. It wasn't that bad. Overall, I recommend this place if you're look for an inexpensive place to live in downtown Ft. Myers."
