"I was a Florida state Trooper and moved into apartment #2 in August 1987. My now wife, who worked for the Venice Police department, moved into an apartment across the drive .We got married in 1988 and just celebrated 35 years."

"We tried to get a place for my 80 yr old mom here. She has section 8 housing assistance, and we were up front from the very first phone call, and were advised that they accepted it. She paid the application fee of $85 and an additional $150 to hold an apartment that would be available this coming March, back in December. She was just denied yesterday. They are claiming her income must be three times the rent in order to qualify. Rent is $1600, so she would need to show an income of $4800 per month. If a person made that amount of income per month, they would not qualify for section 8, nor would they need it. She was approved by Sarasota Housing Authority, and was qualified for the cost of rent here. Completely absurd, and makes zero sense. She lost her home in Port Charlotte in hurricane Ian, and now we have lost months trying to finding her a new place to live in this horrible rental market post hurricane. Please don't tell people you accept Section 8, because obviously you do not. Now we are starting from scratch again, in the middle of season. Unacceptable."

"Not a great place to rent. Please note, no pool, no gym, and the rent keeps being raised! The rent here is ridiculous and there are no amenities at all. There is Mold everywhere and the floors on several units have to be replace regularly due to moisture in the crawl spaces under the units. The "Corporate office" randomly inspects units with only 3 days notice to charge renters for any flaw. If your thinking of moving here please do your due diligence and research this place. You cannot even barbeque on the premise where it is allowed due to stickers and fire ants everywhere. There are plenty of brand spanking new apartments to rent with a nice pool, gym, and even dog/pet washing stations with dog parks that charge less rent. Do not be fooled."

"I've lived in a lot of places, but I've never felt as safe and secure as I do at Clubside. Clubside is run by an all-star team of experts. When my freezer started sounding like a drum circle on speed, I thought my days of quiet and peaceful living were over. In a matter of seconds I met Jay and Keith. These two mighty men delicately emptied the contents of my freezer, lifted my 500-pound fridge like it was a bag of feathers, did a little drilling, and recentered my fridge (which was off-kilter since the last hurricane). The symphony of chaos that was my freezer was silenced and replaced by the sound of ethereal white noise of the freezer Gods, all thanks to this incredible team. This took about 5 minutes, and now I can eat ice cream in peace. And let's not forget Bob, the maintenance maestro who is always on top of things, never fails to give prompt attention to all maintenance requests and has also re-centered my fridge and even plugged in my oven when I was puzzled as to why it would not turn on. If you're looking for a place to live that's both Safe, Secure, and Serene, look no further than Clubside."

"I moved into a studio apartment in April of 2022. The experience was great. The unit was clean and the community was safe and clean. All of my neighbors were very kind people. The staff was awesome. Very responsive when an issue arose (which was infrequent at best) and communication on status was great."
