"I have been living here since 2017 and I love it! Today Randy came to fix my fan in my Master Bedroom and he was not only a perfectionist but extremely courteous and professional. The office staff is outstanding and always makes me feel safe and calls me back promptly when I need help! Thank you Lakewood Shores"
"This place never give me my Leasing and lie about the rent they tell two rooms was 1,200 and then I end up paying them 1,529 dollars. Also they charge you $95 dollars of late fee . If you live by yourself as a single mommy and your kids this is not a place to get in . I will never live here again totally fraudulent about the prices"
"The maintenance team has always been fast courteous and efficient when handling all my work orders. The girls in the office always answer all my questions about any topic in a clear and easy to understand manner. I always feel informed and put at ease whenever I have any questions or concerns."
"Omg I absolutely loved the customer service that I received at Lakewood shores. Odalys was amazing she was patient with me answering all my questions her attitude was great when I had doubts she was there to reassure me. Christina was also amazing very nice both of them was very sweet and professional. Thanks you guys for everything"
"This is based off of first impression only. Idk maybe I'll change it if things get fixed but moving in today I felt apart fished. The apartment looks absolutely nothing like it did online and although they said they had to push my move in date further because they were preparing it for me to move in, a lot was not done and still needed to be done. Wendy is a sweetheart though but the apartment ugh if I was not in dire need of a place, I'd keep looking. The bathroom sinks are disgusting looking and the stove has rust on it.Sooo my heart is a little broke lol. I do not think the rent prices are justified. But eh. Wendy was nice though Update: It's been about a year now, the people in the office are great. It's not much I can say about the people in the office. They try their best they can to work with you, especially Christina. The company who owns Lakewood Shores is cheap. They don't want to fix anything. The security gate at the front still does not work and from neighbors, it hasn't worked for many years. Which is unfortunate because the area is cluttered with sex offenders. The pool is not inviting at all. They recently put one table with an umbrella out there but that didn't last long. The pool is only 4ft and there is no where to relax. At my old place I lived at the pool. Here I won't even go over there. I wish they would redo the pool area too make it more inviting especially since rent prices keep going up. I'd love to say it's worth it. Maybe add seating that's not broken, shade, and a clean pool. They did fix the volleyball net and they do try their best to keep it clean. The car wash station never worked and you have to pay extra to be able to access the gym 24/7. Sometimes my key card works and sometimes it doesn't. There is no access to the bathrooms inside the gym. They keep them locked along with the computer lab. The gym has 3 machines in it too. So you pay to have access to all these things you actually have no access to. The main office is open from 8 to 1pm but they keep the door locked. So trying to actually speak to someone is hard and trying to use the gym without a key card during business hours is impossible. Now, if your rent is not paid by the 3rd of each month they charge you a late fee and give you a 8 day notice. If you don't pay it within those 8 days they charge another late fee and start the eviction process. So you have about 11 business days to pay your rent or you're looking at an eviction, court fees of over $400, and 2($95 & $55) late fees. So for this to be "low income housing" which it's not. You have no home security. You are always worried about being evicted if you fall behind more than 11 days for whatever reason. Then YOU MUST PAY THE COMPLETE BALANCE. So, even if you have your rent, you have to pay your rent, utilities, cable & Internet (if you have their package)and whatever fees to avoid eviction. They don't take partial payments. You can't just pay your rent. So it actually sets you up for failure. You cannot get your own internet or cable unless it's through a hotspot. So that's $90 added to your rent monthly for slow internet. For all of this headache, the least they can do is make sure they keep up with the place. Maintenance seems to always be short staffed and they do the bare minimum. They do a lot of "strapping bandaids" on things and calling it fixed. You have to keep on top of them. My son door literally fell off. I've been waiting for a replacement for over a month. The washer and dryer that was in the unit when I moved in was out dated and broken. The tile under it rips up from the floor if I move the washer. Everything is outdated. Very old stove, fridge, cabinets, ac system and everything. So if you can pick someplace else, do so. It's not worth the rent prices to be here. If you get section 8 and ok with all this then cool but if you pay full rent like I do it really feels like you're being taken advantage from, even stolen from because nothing that is supposed to be included is actually include and the apartment looks nothing like advertised online."
