Reviews of Green Oaks Apartments
"I’M UPDATING THIS REVIEW. While i still find it a quiet place to live and the staff friendly, I’m not finding it such a great place to live anymore. Now they're charging $115 for water/sewage. Used to flat rate of $50, like every apartment complex in Tampa. Idk why they think they're so special that they can actually get away with this but they can't. Their reason is because the third party billing company charged them extra fees. That's not my problem nor is it ANY of the other tenants either. We're not making up your deficit because of your bad business deal. According to Bay Area Legal Services, if it’s not in our lease agreements and then it really isn’t legal, especially with new laws passed in Tampa Bay. So thats for staters, then our parking is an absolute nightmare. They’re doing absolutely nothing about it either. They say it’s because of visitors parking in residential parking but that’s absolutely NOT the reason. It’s because there isn’t enough parking period, for anyone anywhere. There is only one parking place per apartment, so the apartments who two cars, dominate the parking. There is 12 apartments per building and 12 parking spaces total for each building. In my building alone, there 5 apartments who have two cars, that’s a total of 10 spaces taken for those 5 apartments, leaving 2 spaces for the remaining 7 apartments. Where in the hell are the remaining tenants supposed to park? This become absolutely ridiculous and if you park in visitor parking, because there is no where to park, you’ll be towed. There’s no where to park at the buildings either because they have the same amount of parking space. I’ve never been or lived ar an apartment complex that didn’t have at least one space number and designated for each apartment, with an overflow parking, which would be what is currently visitor parking. It’s the most simple to help remedy this situation but they would rather call a tow service that ends up towing the tenants cars for being in visitor parking, cause they didn’t have anywhere else to park @ $200 a pop. Many neighbors are suspecting that they get a kick back from the tow company, I’m not really sure about that but can understand why they think that, because this has been going on for months now. FIX THE PARKING PROBLEM PLEASE. ONE SPOT ASSIGNED TO EACH APARTMENT AND WHAT IS VISITOR PARKING NOW, CHANGE INTO THE OVERFLOW. SIMPLE REMEDY! The apartments with two SHOULD NOT GET PREFERENTIAL PARKING."
"Lived here about a year ago thought I left my review, living there was the worst year of my life! Would not recommend!!!!"
"Kimberly was absolutely AMAZING!! She was very fast and responsive throughout the whole process. With the stress of moving she definitely made everything as easy as it could be! She not only got me taken care of in a fast timely matter but she even went above and beyond to make sure the unit was fully ready before move in. Thanks again Kimberly you’re the best!"
"Wish i could give a negative review. Susan Cabrera is by far the worst property manager I have ever encountered. For one she lies about everything to cover herself even if its ruining her maintenance or leasing office reputation. I have resided there for over 3 and a half years prior to PSDM (Pacifica SanDiego Management) taking over. I not once had a problem with the previous property management. With this property management I have had leaks from tenants above moving out and their washer leaked into my apartment, mold had built and Susan swore mold does not accumulate that fast; mind you it took them over a month and a half to fix it. Maintenance even said it was mold while she swore it was not, I was forced to buy a air purifier ($400 not reimbursed). Had my fiance pregnant at the time and a 2 year old, so you know I was worried and frustrated. Once taken over pest control stopped coming for 2 and a half months, roaches occured (never had a problem prior). Terminators said that the new management did not agree to the cost of exterminating and had not been paid. Grass and lawn care didnt show up for 2 months. Than I finally move out and left the place clean and still they took $215 out of my security deposit i didnt receive till 2 months later. I moved out Oct.28th, didnt receive my deposit till January 2nd and had called corporate over 100 times as by Statute of Fl 83.49 they violated. Please do not get hustled by this new management. Better yet please do not have Susan running these locations into the ground based off unprofessionalism, the worry free state of mind, condescending, ruthlessness that she posseses. I have owned two businesses managed 3 other business and never in my life have dealt with such appauling management, who does not care for the residents nor leaving residents. You never know who may be a returning resident, for me that is out of the question. Please do research on PSDM Better Business Bureau. Most of the positive reviews were based off a possible discount on rent, and by the same person. Research people!!"
"The absolute worst customer service ever. The people in the office are some of the rudest, most incompetent people you will ever deal with. Don't waste your time or your money coming here. Rent is cheap but the trifling mentality of the people in the office ruin everything. I just had a simple question in regards to the lease but both the manager and the leasing consultant were rude as hell. They're all the look you in the eyes and lie to your face type of people. I only gave them one star because none wasn't an option."
