"I've lived in these apartments for five years and the staff is way better then it was. Maintence is great! They respond in a timely manner and Maria is the best! Thank you Timberlake apartments for all of your hard work! It does not go unnoticed!"
"DO NOT MOVE HERE! Three years and I paid my rent on time every month. When I gave my 30 days notice, in person, Maria seemed concerned. Don't let her fool you, she will lie, charge you for the whole month, then management will serve you a three-day notice. They try to over charge you then BREAK THE LAW. Tenants rights don't matter to them. Their response to these reviews are useless. They still continue to ignore you. Now the courts will be involved because they have to stop doing this to people."
"I lived at Timberlake apartment for one year. I had a great Experience. The landscape is amazing I had a lake a pool view and loved siting pool side in the morning. Everyone in the office was always so nice and helped with any problems we had. The maintenance team was always on the ball if there was ever a problem. I got covid while living there and was given extra time to pay rent since I couldn’t work. I did have a leak in my roof. But in the year I lived there that was the only issue. I would have stayed longer but needed more space. So great landscape, great pool/hot tub and grilling area, great location, nice and helpful staff, I highly recommend checking this place out."
"The apartment was immaculate, in excellent condition, comfortable and quiet. The grounds were lovely and well maintained, from the pool and picnic/BBQ area to the beach volleyball court. The communication was excellent throughout my stay. That being said, what made this stay absolutely exceptional was the excellent customer service and warm, friendly team of people assisting you from check in to check out. When we arrived Maria had turned on the lights and AC so we would be comfortable upon entering the apartment. When I requested a late check out due to extenuating personal circumstances, not only did Theresa accommodate my request, but offered to let me stay for as long as I needed to. The cleaning lady offered to help me pack up a box of family heirlooms or my bags. The entire team there went above and beyond. I’ve traveled all over the world, but it was here, at this apartment, that I received the best customer service I’ve ever had."
"Choosing Adara Apartments as my first rented home was the biggest mistake I could’ve made since I moved to the U.S. At the beginning everything was smooth, comfortable and easy. Manager back then was Melissa, which along with Linda were an incredible team who helped me too much through every single step of this new chapter of my life. I trusted them and it was just wonderful. First time somebody treated me so good. Melissa and Linda truly were special ladies and it’s just amazing how good things felt then- Also, Yoel and Connie helped me countless amounts of time. They are both AMAZING. Needless to say that they even helped me carrying things inside whenever they catch me struggling to take some new furniture or whatever else out of my car. Kindness shocked me every time. Everything was good up until pandemic started and they seemed to change managers? Melissa was gone and I started getting weird phone calls from these 2 new ladies talking about things I talked and figured with Melissa before. The new manager was Theresa, now with Maria. Things started to get rough. Phone calls were rude, full of nonsense and they made me go to the office and waste time for things that could’ve been said through a phone call or email. I was not allowed to use Linda as my translator (to understand things better) anymore, because now miss Theresa has Maria. But the thing is that miss Maria translated everything in a lazy way and never got my point across. I’ll go in and leave feeling worst than I should over nothing. I had issues with trash dispenser, water leaking, toilets and shower before and after the managers change but there was a huge difference between before and after. Attention, timing, way to answer. Pandemic happened, I lost my job as many people did, but not too long happened since I started having communication problems with both Theresa and Maria. First, Maria was supposed to pass on letters to residents that Manatee Cares was offering help to those affected by COVID. Later on I realized she only said she did but that never happened (because my neighbors never got it either). So many people was behind rent without knowing there was another way. Not even a week happened after this when a neighbor told me to be careful because they were sending eviction notices to anybody who was behind even $1000 - I was worried so I went to the office expecting to understand what was going on now and Theresa’s answer was “well, it is what it is. Pandemic or not, you can’t be living for free, right? the owner wants his money and that’s all that matters because you signed a contract” + “you don’t have anywhere else to go to? family? a boyfriend? because no one is going to accept your application anywhere else” (???) I asked Maria more about this because I wanted to believe I was completely misunderstanding the way Theresa was talking to me and Maria’s answer literally was “well, to be honest, if I was you i’ll just pack my things and move out before actually getting an eviction because this whole thing is kind of embarrassing, so i’ll recommend you to just leave and pay the money you owe plus the fee for breaking the contract before you signed for” I left, packed my things, actually left somewhere else and then called a few days after to let them know I was gone. But days after I talked to a couple of lawyers and they specifically told me that everything they did and said was ilegal and inappropriate, of course. That I should’ve called corporate and fight for this, or go to a judge and fight back with COVID as my reasoning. I just didn’t. Now i’m so much better and in a better position than before, but I look back and I still getting depressed about everything that was going on. Theresa and Maria are the worst managers I’ve ever meet in my life as a U.S citizen. Even though it’s been a little bit, I still suffering the consequences of their lies and gossips. I still receiving weird fees and extra charges from the apartment complex and much more. This place in general; both ladies and the conditions the complex is, is a nightmare.."
