"Thank you Jessica, I and my mother very much appreciate you and your team of restoring my faith in the people of this city. After living for the past 5 years in a 2 bedroom unit with her two grandsons in South St. Petersburg, my mother like most seniors her age did not want to move to a nursing home, when it became time for her grandchildren to leave the nest. She (my mother) at 74 years+ did not want to deal with the many problems that came with to a new place after surviving noisy neighbors, bad and inate property management & staff who avoiding fixing, repairing or upkeeping the units under their responsibility. Those days in St. Pete, where a simple hand shake was better than any signed agreement. I began my search at most of the normal senior living communities, which was not very difficult for someone who's a native of this city. After being told it would take up to 12 months, before hearing back from anyone, I expected the same from City Place. I was surprise to find that a place so very well maintained, among $600k-1.5mill townhouses and condo's not only had availability, but at reasonable rates for single senior resident. I immediately, put an applications for my Mom, (while also considering for myself too, if I hadn't made Philly my new home city years earlier) senior living for those 55+ right downtown St. Pete close to everything a Senior native could need. After finally getting word of her approval, I like my mother was excited to know that I had done a good job in my search for just the right place for my mother can call home and finally make my return back to Philadelphia. The Unit, was not completely ready for occupancy, (especially for anyone living in Florida in the beginning of summer) the A/C (when functional) could only lower the temperature down to 83 degrees even at night, the main bedroom was missing a bathroom door, the trash disposal jammed/non-functional and this apartment was suppose to be ready for move-in weeks ago. The property manager and maintenance technician (Tiffany & Hosea) had made promises that all would be taken care before move-in. After a few weeks and under new management and staff, Jessica (the new Property Manager) got to work and made the same promises and not only kept her word, but accomplish the work order requests in very little time. Thanks so much Jess, for making it easier for me to leave my Mother in good hands and allowing her the opportunity to continue to live-well independently. Sincerely, Terry"
"Jessica offered me and apartment under the reasonable accommodation request that involved section 8 housing authority me and my current landlord. Jessica pushed me into breaking my current lease under reasonable accommodation request. So I did. I was wanting to move to Ada wheelchair accessible unit. However I needed to confirm the details with my housing advisor because I need third party funding assistance being on fixed income. So instead of cooperation I received the exact opposite treatment from City place. We entered a formal verbal agreement I was offered and accepted a 1 bedroom unit and then turned away within 2 days for no valid reason. City place took the information and chose to exploit me after I provided and went out of my way to get out of my present lease agreement in hopes of moving to a more suitable apartment. Jessica rented all 3 apartments behind my back within a span of a day or 2 despite having this formal verbal agreement with Pinellas county housing authority PCHA my current landlord and myself. City place was the party involved providing the accessible unit and they decide to back out in the middle of the negotiation process. This is not acceptable for a management team especially in a facility with a specific population such as elderly and or disabled. These are clear violations of the Fair housing act and it is also a violation of the ADA law and how it applies to reasonable accommodation request and housing. Yet this management team has no real work knowledge or experience with housing agencies or laws that apply to housing. They act like sales agents working on commission and trying to collect as many fees as possible and if you don't fit into there specific demands then you are screwed and sent to the back of list for another 5 years. City place needs someone like a caseworker with skills to handle the applications. Someone who is trained to care trained to understand and listen and recognize what needs to be done and how to go about it correctly. Geriatric population should not be exploited for having individual needs that are not aligned to fit the ableist society we live in. Jessica is a fake person who flat out lies. She encouraged me and pushed me to break my lease under reasonable accommodation request yet has no freaking idea what it entails. What an idiot."
"Thanks to Tiffany for all help during the application process and moving in, she is so friendly and professional. The building is well maintained and clean the apartment are very nice and well equipped."

"In this day and age when negative information is easily shared and dispersed; I find it refreshing and worthy of my time, to share my positive experience and interactions with City Place Property Manager, Ms. Tara Smith. Ms. Smith demonstrated the utmost professional and positive demeanor to usher along my concerns. Not only were my issues handled promptly, but with such a positive attitude that it was a pleasurable experience. This is not an easy accomplishment when dealing with clients that may not be placated or satisfied. Ms. Tara exemplified genuine interest and concern with me, while exuding patience and a "human-touch" that is missing from many corporations these days. Thank You Ms. Tara Smith, for your care, concern, and the "excellence" with how you perform you job. I want the Owners, and the Cambridge Group to know that you represent them to the highest degree and because of You - this recognition is so well-deserved and needed. You are "Appreciated!" Sincerely, P. Williams (Resident) City Place Apartments St. Petersburg, FL 33701"
