"Before I say anything I want to say that I give Andrea and her staff in the office a FIVE-START rating. I have been a resident at this property since 2018. Now what can I say about Milo Bayside in general. Well I can honestly say that Andrea is extremely helpful and will do everything she can to help you. They have truly stepped up and have done what the last 2 owners said they were going to do and never did. They are really making an effort. Listen I am going to be honest. I don't care where you go, there will Always be positives and negatives. But at least Milo and Bayside is trying to do the right thing. They are working hard on upgrading all of the apartments to make them as nice as possible. Yeah it is taking a while but they're doing a good job. Parking could be better but hey when you got 10,000 people living in a apartment complex You only have so much room to park vehicles. All in all I truly give it a four-star rating. And the only reason I'm not giving it five star is because in my opinion five-star would be completely done no more issues no more problems everything taken care of. And there are still things that need to be fix or replaced. But like I said they are in the process of doing that. And again Andrea is fantastic. All the people there in the office are hardworking and willing to help in any way the can. And I truly plan on giving them a five-star rating once everything is completed and said and done. "The new door installed in December 2023 includes a lovely finger-sized gap between the wall and door, even when the door is locked. When unlocked, the door doesn’t close and can swing open. I submitted a repair request on December 21, 2023, but to no avail. This request remains unaddressed as of this writing on January 26, 2024. (Postscript: The maintenance team admitted in writing on January 30, 2024 that they failed to address the repair request submitted on December 21, 2023, but would do so now that I’ve vacated the unit. Interesting.) My mailbox key broke off in the mailbox lock on December 18, 2023 and as of January 4, 2024, there has been no repair or replacement despite management’s promise to deliver a new key by the close of business on December 22, 2023 - which didn’t happen - and on December 28, 2023 (which also didn’t happen). Fortunately the mail carrier hand-delivered some mail to me 2 weeks ago, but other important items remain held hostage in the mailbox as of January 4, 2024. My apartment was broken into for the 4th time in one year in early December 2023 due to the faulty sliding glass door lock for which I have repeatedly requested repair or replacement (with a police incident report number included with each request), yet the faulty lock remains in place as of January 26, 2024. Though maintenance marked the most recent repair request as complete on January 2, 2024, nothing was done, my safety remains compromised, and the apartment could be broken into again at any time. Management sent an email late last summer saying no leases in my building would be renewed because full gut renovations are planned for each unit, meaning walls will be knocked down and floors and appliances will be replaced. Meanwhile, as the end of my lease approaches, my repair requests are ignored and I’m treated like an imbecile when I ask questions. Being here is frustrating, disheartening, and embarrassing, especially when the outside of the apartment as of January 26, 2024 looks like something in a war torn country. How has this property not sold to a developer who’d raze the antiquated buildings and replace them with modern, code-compliant residences instead of continually heaping lipstick on a pig?"
