"Do not recommend living here. The fact that this place calls themselves luxury apartments is an absolute joke. No parking so my girlfriend is getting catcalled by homeless and randoms on the street walking to and from her car far. She now has to carry her taser every where. Constant construction going on and we can hear them outside of our bedroom window. Bedroom window has water coming in every time it rains hard out, so probably has mold that we are breathing in and living in. Asked one of the maintenance guys to check it out while he was here fixing something else, and he looked at it and said he would be back- never came back. We are getting charged twice on trash and $40 on internet that does not work so had to buy our own while still paying for theirs. The gates are broken and has never been closed and we’ve been here for a year and a half- a lot of outsiders use our pool and gym. Our freezer has been “cleaned” out twice and still has maggot eggs in it coming out with the ice- something dead in it? Constant lizards and insects coming inside, probably from the bedroom window. Our upstairs neighbors are having the same issues and when they asked them why they were charged double on some things Angela said she didn’t know. They pulled up their signed leasing contranct and showed her what they are supposed to be paying and she told them it was a typo. Our next door neighbor moved out from all the construction and other issues and he said he was here for quite some time before hand. When you go to them with your complaints so they can make things right, they are not nice to you anymore. Try to stay away from this place as it is nothing but a headache and you will feel like your money is going to waste."

"I’ve been living at The Nolen for about 4 months and have no good things to say about it at all. It’s build very poorly. Cabinets and drawers don’t match up so it’s hard to open and close some of them and the walls are so thin you can hear everything. My boyfriend and I can even hear the construction being worked on outside around the corner by them throughout the day. We have no hot water so we’ve been showering in cold and our neighbors said they have had the same issue. We have also been charged double on a bunch of things during this bill and when waiting to have time to ask them to fix it, they went ahead and sent a notice to us for our rent being 2 days late. 2 days late!! There’s no parking and the staff are so extremely rude, they don’t care about their residents and we will not be renewing with them. We may even find elsewhere sooner. Our appliances have been falling apart since move in day.Last but not least our upstairs neighbor has no respect for us below we’ve complained multiple times and the complex keeps giving her chances on chances and only giving her warnings we’re fed up and cannot wait for this lease to be over."

"My experience at Nolan has been great. I love my view & that my place is close to many good eateries and the beach. My apartment was perfect when I moved in. Everything is going well. When I have something that needs to be done, it's getting done timely. I personally appreciate the hard work and expense being put into renovate inside and out, I know that it is a big endeavor. I like the new food area and the shop fronts it looks really good. The pool is always refreshing too. The new management in the office has been professional, helpful and fun to talk to. Proud to be here."

"Do NOT move here (long but informative post) (1.) you WILL NOT get your security deposit back. They apply it to standard cleanings that they do for everyone when you move out, simple light replacements(which was never serviced during our stay), and water bills that they won’t post until you’re gone. (2.) the entire complex is an active construction zone. They are completely taking apart the building due to water damage and you can definitely smell the mold in every hallway. (3.) there are roaches everywhere. No matter what you do to clean and apply roach repellent, they always show up. Same with the lizards, spiders and other insects… (4.) the water bill is set up so that you pay the average of what all residents in the building you live in use. Which is a lot, considering most people have children and work from home. Water bill was always over $140. (5.) for about 4-5 months, we paid for internet that did not work. (6.) water heater only kept the water in the shower hot for a max of 10 minutes. I submitted plenty of service requests for this but it was ignored. The unit needed to be replaced. (7.) there is a huge presence of homeless and drug users near or on the premises. We also witnesses many non-residents use the pool and gym, since the complex is not locked All in all, just go somewhere else. The staff is very rude and unprofessional. I was degraded constantly by David for raising complains about our living situation and for trying to pay rent when the online system wasn’t working. We’re very happy to finally be out of there."

"We moved in 8 months ago have been completely satisfied with our experience, especially since the new Manager took over. There is a lot of activity and a little noise from the construction, but nothing major. The location for our lifestyle is absolutely perfect. We love that we can walk right downtown to all of the various shops and restaurants in minutes and the short distance to the beach. Every time we have needed any work done the crew has been right on it! Thanks for making us feel at home it is very appreciated. We cant wait to take advantage of the new facilities opening this month!"
