"DO NOT waste your time with this place. Applying here has been nothing but hell from the start. I applied here in August and got called towards the end of September and was told to come into the office and turn in 680 deposit and sign papers to move forward with the apartment . I got my deposit to them within a week (that’s how much time they allow you) and once deposit is turned in they send it to corporate and I was told by the property manager it could take up to a month at the longest before I’m in the place. Turned deposit in on October 1st and signed papers. They leave you in the dark the whole time. You have to consistently call up there or visit to see what’s going on with your application. The manager at this property is very under qualified and overwhelmed. I finally was approved Novemeber 27th. Almost 2 months. Property manager called and told me to get electric turned on and they will hand over the keys to me. I asked how much my rent is going to be and I was told 500/ month. I was surprised because I work part time and property manager said my rent shouldn’t be higher than 300 per month based off my income. I was told it’s going to be higher due to a deposit on my bank account (the deposit was a family member loaning me the 680 so I could move into this place) . They told me the deposit was counted as part of my income and that’s why rent was high. I told the property manager I could not afford that alone because I’m a single mom working part time. I told her I wanted to withdraw my application and have my deposit refunded. She said she understood and called her boss to see what she needs to do. I was told to come in and sign a form that says I want my deposit returned to me and I came into the office on December 5th. It is now January 7th and they still haven’t even wrote the check to me. These people are the slowest at getting anything done and if you call corporate they’re full of excuses and somehow someone is always out of the office (always the person you need to speak to). Property manager blames corporate and says they’re slow because they’re training new people and corporate says they had just received my papers. The property manager always waits last min to turn in any documents that you sign. My application sat on her desk for almost a whole month before it was actually turned in and she always blames corporate. So I’m still out $680 and I have never even been a tenant here. Renters just be aware."
"We've been living there for 2 yes now."
"Shady business! This company lied about having taken my social security number, that was given to them to put on another persons application (which already seemed weird) but the woman in the office said it was necessary for the government housing program,, so I gave it to her on the back of a business card that she handed me, and assured me she would destroy it, as soon as she put it on the persons application! And explained it was (governmently necessary) to have a second persons ss security number There were 2 witnesses in the office at the time who overheard me questioning why my S.S. number was needed for the other person who was the one actually applying. They saw me write my S.S number on the back of the business card she handed me! But when the applicant came in to make sure her application was being reviewed the following day, the same office woman claims I never came by to give it to her! So now Im wondering where my S.S. number is? Be careful with this company! Shady!!!"
