Reviews of Crossing at Santa Fe Apartments
"First and LAST year living here. First off the day I was supposed to move in (which I had notified them a week in advance) my room wasn’t ready and I dont live in fl so I had to get a hotel for 5 days until my room was ready. They did not reimburse me for that week. Then that room ended up being infested with ROACHES after I notified them I had to stay there for a month until they finally moved me into a different room. This new room was dirtier and smaller but I was still paying for the other room which was more money. Then after I thought the worst of the problems was over halfway into my lease I was told I had to pay a random fee of $300. This fee came without cause or reason and when I asked them about it they said in the lease they could raise rent or charge fees with no disclosure so sure enough I ended up having to pay for the fee. These are only a few of the problems I’ve had living here without mentioning maintenance issues and the rude people at the front office. I am not the type of person to write negative review but I feel like people have to know how these people are beforehand. I don’t really have anyone at home or any adult I can take these problems with and ask for advice so o feel taken advantage. If you’re reading this deciding whether to sign here or not please don’t let these people take advantage of you thank you and have a great day."
"The Crossings definitely has a bad reputation, but overall it’s not a bad community. They have improved over the year that I have been here and it’s been great. Going to some of the events here can be fun and contacting with staff is great. The gym doesn’t have a lot of equipment but it’s good for a quick workout. The pool is always fun but the grill is dirty almost every time you check it. The computer lab is small but definitely gets the work done. The common areas are nice, especially when seeing other people there having fun. There are something’s they can improve on but overall it’s a decent place to stay if really in need."
"The office staff can be frustrating to say the least but there are some good ones there. If you want to live here, go for a 3 bedroom. Not 4. The 3 bedroom apartments are much nicer, way bigger, and have more storage. The 4 bedrooms are cramped, have no space at all, and have low ceilings. It feels like a shoe box. It's worth paying a little extra to have a space you can actually use. The ESA process took almost 8 months for me to get approved after I sent all the required paperwork to everyone in that building practically 100 times. The amenities are nice when they actually let you use them. They keep the lights off on the basketball court until way after dark and close the gym and pool at evening time. The security people are amazing (shout out Krystal cuz I love that girl!) It's cheap but you get what you pay for. Great location tho"
"Not only for students, but for families too! Walking distance to an array of restaurants, grocery store/stores, and Santa Fe college. The amenities, which include an outdoor pool with grill, a game room, computer room, two volleyball courts, a basketball court, a tennis court, and the fitness area are nice features to enjoy. For the most part, this is a quiet community and there is always a guard onsite. Plenty of parking. Minutes to I-75 as well as lots of shopping plazas. Located across the street to Santa Fe College, as well as the Santa Fe Zoo. Maintenance guys are awesome at getting things fixed in an efficient manner and do not cut corners. Overall, the office staff is friendly, can be knowledgeable, and set up really awesome community events. Overall, I give this place 5 stars!"
